Sarah was well connected and informed but the choices of food were certainly repetitive. All of the places we sampled served chicken and pork belly. Only 2 of the places we stopped were memorable enough to get us to return. The Hawaiian restaurant both food and drink were spectacular and the Wildwood for the views not the food.

We had a fantastic food tour with Stu! He was a great ambassador for Asheville and its food scene—friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the city. Every stop was excellent, and there was enough food for lunch and dinner combined! We loved the mix of great food, local stories, and Asheville history. Stu really made the afternoon fun and memorable. Definitely one of the highlights of our time in Asheville. Highly recommend!
We were told the wrong starting point. Make sure you double check where the group is meeting. Food is good, but not fancy. Stop at Periscope was completely unnecessary. We didn’t need to just get something to drink at that point.
Excellent food adventure. Stu planned a great afternoon and kept us entertained. We ate well and learned a lot about Asheville.
This was one of the best food tours I’ve been on! My husband agrees. It was focused on food vs excessive narration. There was lots of savory delicious variety with really good portions and some great stories about the people who make the food that made you appreciate it even more.. we now have a list of places we will revisit and have a meal while we’re here. Stu was knowledgeable, personable, respectful of everyone and engaging. If you are a person who enjoys food I highly recommend this tour.

We have been on food tours throughout the world, and by far this was one of the BEST! Stu is a phenomenal guide! The love he has for the city of Asheville & the all the restaurants shows through. We had such a wonderful selection of food. Come hungry - you will leave full & satisfied!
