Um passeio guiado pelo Centro Histórico de Valência para visitar seus monumentos mais emblemáticos, com ênfase especial nas quatro propriedades Patrimônio Mundial da cidade. Entre na Lonja de la Seda (Exchange of Silk), desfrute do passado e do presente da cidade e garanta grandes e duradouras lembranças de sua visita. *Em caso de fechamento da Bolsa da Seda devido a um evento durante a visita, ofereceremos a possibilidade de enviar os bilhetes aos clientes para entrarem na tarde por conta própria ou tentaremos trocá-los por um bilhete do mesmo valor para outro museu/monumento.

Visita da Estação.
Aqui falaremos das Fallas, que foram a última adição de Valência a esta lista da UNESCO em 2016. Estas festividades realizam-se entre 15 e 19 de março e fazem da cidade um museu ao ar livre de monumentos efémeros, acompanhados de música, música tradicional fantasias e cheiro de pólvora.

Entraremos na Lonja de la Seda, obra-prima da arquitetura civil gótica, declarada Patrimônio da Humanidade em 1996. A fabulosa Sala de Contratación, com suas colunas, abóbadas e nervuras, transporta-nos para a prosperidade da Idade de Ouro Valenciana. . Os passeios noturnos (em agosto e setembro, às 18h30) não incluem entrada.

O Tribunal das Águas, Patrimônio Imaterial da Humanidade desde 2008, acontece todas as quintas-feiras, às 12h, na Porta dos Apóstolos da Catedral.

Valencia is a lovely city with an old centre that is stuffed with interesting buildings. Our guide, Belen, was full of enthusiasm and information about the city. She went at a sensible pace and pointed out aspects of the city that you would never have got by yourself. The vulgar stone carvings were particularly amusing and the sort of thing you are unlikely to notice unless someone like Belen points them out. Our tour concentrated on the historical centre so we didn't get to see the modern architecture nor have an amble along the lovely park that was the river bed, but these we will do on a future visit - we are definitely coming back. If you have limited time or simply want to see the historical centre of the city, then hiring a guide like Belen is absolutely the right way to go. We would highly recommend her tour.

Walking was a good way to get introduced to important sites in Valencia. Plan for stairs. I was happy to move quickly from one site to the next.

This was a very informative tour of the history of Valencia and some its main buildings. We visited the City Hall and the Silk Market inside and outside, the main train station, the mercado and the Cathedral. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.
