Essaouira Sunset Tour: Sidi M’barek Waterfall, Caminhada e jantar na costa

I highly recommend this timeless activity. Youssef is incredibly kind and shares his knowledge with us throughout this enriching hike. The meal, the tea served, and the homemade Moroccan pastries were excellent and in an idyllic setting. We wish Youssef success in his projects, and we would gladly do this activity again if we return to Morocco.

An authentic and incredible experience. Youssef is amazing and genuinely passionate about what he does. He took the time to explain everything, from the local history to the medicinal plants we encountered along the way. The dinner in the cave was absolutely incredible and made the experience even more special. What I appreciated most was that it never felt touristy. The groups were small, which made the whole experience feel much more personal and authentic. I highly recommend it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Delighted with our experience with our guide Youssef, kind, charming, and very attentive. He introduced us to the flora throughout our walk, it was very interesting. The waterfall is obviously not very well supplied with water, but we can easily imagine it with a greater flow. Pleasant atmosphere, about 1.5 hours of walking with very beautiful landscapes and... the cherry on top, upon arrival at the beach, a dinner awaits us, a very good tagine, tea of course, all served on small tables with a lounge set up and carpets on the ground, in a cave, not very wide but enough for us to be sheltered from the wind. And after our dinner, we wait for the sunset with a magnificent view of the ocean, it is simply magical. A delight! The organization of the excursion is perfect, not a false note, and the organization of the dinner is even better considering the conditions in which it is prepared. A true adventure that is very refreshing to discover this beautiful region. Thank you, Youssef, for your kindness and professionalism.

Provider said did not see our booking & so the taxi left without us then wanted triple the cost for a replacement taxi. We declined, they've agreed to refund but it was our last night of our holiday which left us without plans. Not great at all.

lovely walk through the countryside and dunes. Wear decent footwear. The guide was very friendly and informative with a lot of local knowledge. The food was lovely and the sunset was great. All in all a great evening

Absolutely fantastic experience - during the walk - stunning sceneries, and afterwards delitious tea followed by dinner in a cave with ocean sunset view and a pitchfire. We were served delitious fish tagine and fresh fruits. Our guide, Joseph, is very attentive, kind, knowledgable and respectful. He picked us up, showed us the surroundings, and looked after us very well. Highly reccommended! For the best experience wear proper hiking shows - it was quite challenging for us to climb the dunes in sandals... :)

Took part in this experience our last night in Essaouira and it was probably the most unique place I’ve ever had dinner. The hike itself is about an hour long, not overly challenging, but running shoes are highly recommended given the rocky terrain, and then sand dunes. The waterfalls were quite underwhelming… not sure if this was due to low water levels at the time we visited or if they’re always like this? The dinner portion was good. When we arrived we were served thyme tea (would have preferred traditional Moroccan) and some cookies while dinner was prepared. I was expecting everyone to have their own tagine, but instead it was served family style, and because my husband does not eat fish, everyone was served the chicken option. I had really been looking forward to some fresh fish while he had chicken. The cave is well set up, with low tables, carpets to sit on and pillow to lean up against. It was a very windy day, and the cave was pretty sheltered from the wind. Our guide even made a small fire. I was expecting Moroccan lanterns on the tables (not sure why?) but it only had a few small torches on the rocks. Ambiance was ok, but lanterns would have pushed it over the top. We ate as the sun set and were served oranges and bananas for dessert. Once the sun was close to setting, we made our way back to the vans. Transportation was not included but arranged for us by the operator, and I found that part expensive at 150 MAD per person for a 30 minute ride both ways. Overall it was enjoyable, and our guide was very nice and sweet. It just maybe fell short for me in a couple of areas. It was certainly a very unique experience though.
