Com este passeio poderá conhecer a essência de Tenerife num só dia. Começaremos o dia visitando a cidade costeira de Candelária, onde está localizada a Basílica da Candelária, um dos locais de culto mais importantes de Tenerife. A excursão continua em La Orotava. Aqui exploraremos lugares cheios de charme e cultura como La Casa de Los Balcones ou a Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Continuaremos a nossa viagem em Garachico, localidade cuja história está marcada por uma erupção vulcânica em 1706. Caminharemos pelo seu centro histórico e visitaremos locais emblemáticos como as piscinas naturais de El Caletón ou o Castillo de San Miguel. Aqui você terá tempo livre para almoçar sozinho ou saborear a culinária das Canárias em um dos restaurantes que recomendamos. Após esta visita entraremos no Parque Rural Teno. As suas estradas sinuosas levar-nos-ão a Masca, uma aldeia rodeada por espectaculares falésias que preserva a sua arquitectura tradicional das Canárias.

Uma vez que as pick-ups terminarem, você deixará a zona hoteleira para trás, em direção à Villa de Candelaria. Lá você pode visitar sua basílica, dentro da qual está a Virgen de Candelaria (ou Virgen Morenita), que é a padroeira das Ilhas Canárias. Você também ficará surpreso com as imponentes estátuas de bronze que comemoram os antigos menceyes (reis guanches) de Tenerife, e que constituem um monumento nacional.
O passeio continua para o norte da ilha, onde você fará um percurso pedestre pelo Sítio Histórico-Artístico de Villa de La Orotava. Suas ruas cheias de história e beleza o levarão à La Casa de Los Balcones, um dos edifícios mais representativos de La Orotava e um centro de bordados e trastes de trajes típicos das Canárias.
Continuaremos com a visita a Garachico, incluída em 2021 na lista das "CIDADES MAIS BONITAS DA ESPANHA" cidade que depois de ter sido parcialmente destruída por uma erupção vulcânica em 1706 foi posteriormente reconstruída. Atualmente possui um rico património arquitetónico dos séculos XVI e XVII muito bem preservado, razão pela qual o seu centro histórico foi declarado Bem de Interesse Cultural em 1994. Você terá tempo livre para almoçar por conta própria ou saborear a culinária local em um dos restaurantes que recomendamos.
No caminho de volta para o sul da ilha, entraremos no Parque Rural Teno para visitar a pitoresca casa da fazenda Masca, uma das mais belas paisagens de Tenerife, onde a natureza e um dos melhores exemplos da arquitetura tradicional se misturam.

This was a very enjoyable experience - touring around most of the island visiting some very interesting historical places such as Candelaria and Oratava and seeing some stunning scenery. Our guide gsve us alot of interesting information about the places and Tenerife.

Laura the tour guide and Rico (sp?) the driver were excellent. Laura spoke in English and French and was so fun and knowledgeable and spent pyres between stop offs around the island explaining about the history and geography of the place. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We recommend opting to have a meal at the restaurant they recommend in garachico. We had the best paella I’ve tasted with a view of the ocean. Our favourite Tenerife experience so far.

The trip was cancelled 3 minutes before the coach arrived. Complete waste of our time
Dear Traveler, Due to Storm Therese, an official adverse weather warning was issued which forced us to cancel the excursions on Thursday and Friday. Although the alert had been lifted for Saturday, unfortunately the situation changed unexpectedly and the rain returned during the early hours of Saturday morning. We contacted all customers individually first thing in the morning, as early as possible, taking into account that pick-ups are scheduled at very early hours. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding, as the safety of our customers is always our top priority. Best regards,
I loved the return to the island, as a local I learned much more about tenerife on this excursion and it was the first time I went to masca which is beautiful, thanks especially to the guide Peter, the driver and the Atlantic organization, that it is not easy to manage so many stops in such a short time. Amazing!

This tour is worth every penny. You are taken all over the island and have the opportunity to explore the nothern historic part of Tenerife. Peter (our guide) was humourous and knowledgable. This tour involves lots of walking and some steep inclines so wear comfortable shoes. The views along the way are just spectacular and the winding roads demand a very experienced and patient coach driver like ours. The one drawback was the lunch. We were offered to lunch at a Catalonian restaurant for 15 euros which is very reasonable but I would avoid the chicken! Apart from that, it was an excellent tour and a terrific way to tour Tenerife.
There were only two highlights on this trip. The first was the visit to Mount Tiede. Unfortunately we were only allowed a 30 minute stop, which for those who watched the video in the museum left very little time to explore the area around the Roques de Garcia, which gave wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. The second highlight was the trip from the village of Masca back to the main highway. The views were spectacular and the driver’s skills around the hairpin bends is to be commended. However, the bit in the middle was boring to say the least and the trip was overly long (11 1/2 hours from pick up to return). The commentary was repeated in three different languages which was overly loud and annoyed a lot of people as the speakers were directly over your head. Although the tour guide Ivan did his best, it would have been better for him to have announced where the next destination was, and hand out the history of the destination on a sheet of paper for guests to read at their leisure, and then ask question if necessary.
Hello Richard. Thank you for your comments. We are sorry to hear that your experience with us did not meet your expectations. It is true that on tours of this type, there is sometimes not enough time to discover 100% of all the places we visit. But it is an efficient way to explore the island, which is quite large, in just one day. Our excursions last approximately 8/9 hours, from pick-up to drop-off at the hotel. This time can be more or less, depending on factors beyond our control, such as traffic. On the other hand, as offered, the tour is a regular shared bus tour with a maximum of 3 languages at all times. Our guides try to make the day as enjoyable as possible by giving quite simple information and explanations of cultural and historical interest throughout the tour. Even so, we hope you enjoyed your stay on the island!
Despite a super friendly and hilarious polyglot guide, I regret the little time spent at each stage. Even when preparing, setting out alone and at a run, it is not possible to see more than the local clichés, and completely impossible to immerse yourself in the places. Good to get a first idea and know where to return while taking your time.

Very nice to see all sides of the island. The stops where very short and i would have liked more time to look around, but what we did see whas very divers. The hairpin bends on the way to and from Masca where a very good exciting end of this trip.
