This was an amazing experience! We had Lauren as our tour guide, she was so friendly and knowledgeable. She customized the tour to be exactly what we wanted. The views were incredible.

We had an amazing experience with Sirena. She had so much knowledge about the area. We explored the bamboo forest, found hidden waterfalls and cliff jumped into a private swimming spot. Its so relaxing to have someone else drive the curvy road while you just take in the beauty around you. It was the perfect combination of short hiking, adventure and relaxing. The kids loved it.

Our experience with Epic Waterfall Adventure was absolutely unforgettable! The entire tour was well organized, exciting, and full of breathtaking scenery. The waterfalls were stunning, and having GO PRO 13 footage included made the adventure even more special because we could fully enjoy the experience without worrying about filming everything ourselves. A huge thank you to our guide, Julisa, who made the day incredible from start to finish. She was knowledgeable, energetic, patient, and made everyone feel safe and comfortable throughout the adventure. Her positive attitude and local insights truly elevated the experience. The GO PRO 13 footage captured amazing moments we’ll cherish forever, and the quality was excellent. Our guide Lauren was wonderful! Took us off the beaten path to a few beautiful waterfalls where we got to hike, jump, and swim in some refreshing water. She was super knowledgeable about Maui and was able to give us lots of recommendations for things to do the rest of our trip. She was kind, funny, and easy to talk to, which made the tour extra special. Not to mention she took some great photos and videos of our adventure for us to remember! Would definitely do this tour again in the future!

The pick up location is sketchy. But the rest of the day was amazing!! Wearing water shoes with sturdy bottoms made our day so much better. You’re walking through rivers and some mud. Sirena was fantastic. You can tell she loves the island.

We were paired with our guide, Lauren, who communicated with us the night before and again the morning of our hike. Before heading out, Lauren and the Epic team carefully checked trail conditions and the weather to ensure everything was safe. Lauren took us to a hidden spot that felt truly special—somewhere you’d never find on your own. She gave us the option of a shorter, easier hike or a longer, more adventurous route. We chose the longer trail and couldn’t have been happier with that decision. The hike itself was an absolute adventure—we crossed more than 10 streams, walked through a beautiful bamboo forest, and ended at an incredible waterfall. It truly lived up to the name “Epic.” Lauren was fantastic—knowledgeable, passionate about the island, and clearly respectful of its culture and environment. She was also patient and supportive with our young daughters, which made the experience even more enjoyable for our whole family. This was truly the hike of a lifetime. Thank you, Lauren and the entire Epic Maui Hikes team—we’ll absolutely be reaching out again on our next trip to Maui. 🙏

Awesome experience! Highlight of our trip! Lauren was amazing! Highly recommend! It was definitely more treacherous of a hike than I was expecting, but we felt very safe with Lauren and my three kids were fine. Definitely bring water shoes!!

This was a wonderful hike and beautiful waterfall. I am 65 years old and managed the hike just fine. The rocks are slippery when crossing creeks so make sure you have good tread on your shoes. Our guide Serena was very knowledgeable about the area and was very careful when we were hiking. The reason for the title is the fact that I didn't get the GoPro video/pictures of me jumping into and swimming in the waterfall. I was told that the footage wasn't on the GoPro. A once in a lifetime experience and I have nothing to look back on. Epic Hikes did offer to take me another day to get the footage but I was busy and then leaving the island. Take your camera and have guide use it for important pictures.

Had an amazing waterfall hike excursion with Julisa! She was incredible; so knowledgeable about the land, so kind and patient with our group, she created a once in a lifetime experience for our family that we will never forget! Highly highly recommend!
