10h00 encontre e cumprimente nosso amigável motorista que fala inglês no lobby do hotel e prossiga para sua excursão. Você será buscado em seu hotel em um veículo com ar condicionado e fará um passeio pela cidade de Kuala Lumpur. O parque tem um belo paisagismo com uma infinidade de vegetação exuberante e flores coloridas. Há também um viveiro e área de reprodução onde você pode ver as larvas de borboletas emergindo de seus casulos como borboletas. Além dessas borboletas de diversas cores e tamanhos, também há insetos em exposição. Entre os insetos expostos estão os besouros rinocerontes e os louva-a-deus. O parque tenta imitar ao máximo as florestas tropicais, habitat natural de suas borboletas. Até a rede usada para manter as borboletas dentro do parque tem uma altura que proporciona área de vôo suficiente para essas lindas criaturas voarem.
Agora iniciamos o Circuito Cultural da Cidade Livre: TUGU NEGARA (MONUMENTO NACIONAL), SULTÃO ABDUL SAMAD BUILDING, MASJID JAMEK e DATARAN MERDEKA (MERDEKA SQUARE). TUGU NEGARA (MONUMENTO NACIONAL) Com vista para os jardins do Lago KL, o enorme monumento de bronze foi construído para homenagear os soldados que deram suas vidas defendendo o país durante a Insurreição Comunista na década de 1950. O Monumento Nacional foi projetado por Felix de Weldon, o arquiteto do famoso Memorial Iwo Jima
SULTAN ABDUL SAMAD BUILDING Sultan Abdul Samad Construindo uma das atrações mais duradouras da cidade, construído em 1897, o prédio é considerado o melhor dos estados malaios. Possui um imponente alpendre, graciosos arcos em forma de ferradura, domos de cobre brilhantes e uma torre de relógio de 41,2 metros. O piso térreo deste edifício abriga um Centro de Informações Turísticas.
MASJID JAMEK Construído em 1909, o masjid Jamek é a mesquita mais antiga da cidade. Possui elementos de design que são inspirados na arquitetura Mogul I Northern India. Cúpulas e minaretes ficam no topo das paredes de tijolos e das colunatas arqueadas, enquanto as cúpulas de 70 pés sobem ao salão de orações. Esta mesquita ocupa uma localização histórica na confluência dos rios Klang e Gombak, que é o local de nascimento de Kuala Lumpur.
DATARAN MERDEKA (MERDEKA SQUARE) Dataran Merdeka é um dos mais importantes patrimônios da cidade. O jack da União foi reduzido para marcar a independência do país do domínio colonial. Daí o nome dataran Merdeka, que significa "Praça da Independência". As atividades na área incluem passeios guiados gratuitos e passeios KL ByCycle. Fim do tour retornar ao seu hotel em um veículo com ar condicionado.

Not worth visiting. Very few butterfly's and in need of serious upgrade as the paths and steps were dangerous in parts. Apparently it doesn't get many visitors and I can see why
Thoroughly disappointing, $10AUD for what seemed like 20 mins of rundown gardens, some dilapated fish tanks and very few butterfly's. Taxidermy at the end end was good as well as the live insect displays. Luckily I did the bird park ( which was fantastic) first and then walked down to the butterfly park last, would've been disappointing if I had done it in reverse. At least it was a spot for a Geab pick up/drop off so I could get the he'll out of there. Also, it's cash only and staff weren't very friendly.
Dear Aaron, I'm afraid you put this review on the wrong Tripadvisor listing. Out product or listing is basically Kuala Lumpur City Tour with stopover at KL Butterfly Park. Take time to visit the Butterfly Park while in Kuala Lumpur. Enjoy the variety of butterflies in the middle of the city. They have created a rainforest habitat with a maze of footpaths winding through lush vegetation, across bridges over koi ponds, past waterfalls, gazebos and turtle ponds. They also had a collection of beetles, stick insects and other insects, millipedes, etc. that we checked as well.
There were a few butterflies but not too many. The bigger butterflies were high in the canopy so could not see them It was not so expensive to get in do it was ok

It small but a great experience to see the butterflies up close. Good value for money. Great pictures taken. Very close to the bird park too.
We didn't get the tour advertised. Apparently the operator doesn't have many English speaking drivers, so they sub- contracted it to an individual driver/guide who took us on his own route with 8 or 9 stops including the Butterfly Park. He also made the butterfly stop later in the tour because he said most of the butterfies would still be asleep earlier! Probably far better than the advertised tour!
The butterfly park is very cool and you'll see and probably touch a lot of cool butterflies, but it's also a greenhouse, so prepare to sweat while walking through there.

Doesnt matter if you are a Butterfly enthusiast or not.. This place is streaming with Butterflies.. and they come and sit on you! Also there is a nice museum of insects and snakes on the way out.. so plan for that.. you can spend an easy half an hour there! Well worth the money
