most was that many of the vehicles appeared to be in their original condition rather than heavily restored, which made the experience feel even more authentic. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the museum was well organized and enjoyable to explore. We had a wonderful visit and would highly recommend it to anyone with an interest in classic vehicles.
Thanks for a great review!
As a movie enthusiast, I visited the Motor Museum in Finestrat mainly attracted by its exhibition dedicated to film and television, a section that I was very excited about but ultimately left me with a bittersweet feeling due to its high price. As a lover of movies, it is undeniable the charm of seeing in person replicas of iconic vehicles such as the DeLorean from Back to the Future, the legendary KITT from Knight Rider, the van from The A-Team, the friendly Beetle Herbie, or the van from Jurassic Park. However, the rest of the permanent collection, although it houses certainly interesting and historical pieces —such as a Cadillac Fleetwood limousine used by the government during Franco's era—, I believe that if you are not a true enthusiast of classic and vintage cars, the general exhibition does not manage to surprise or fascinate completely. The main drawback lies in the cost of admission: paying €15 per person seems excessively high to me. It is a nice project with good decorative intentions, but the value for money is somewhat unbalanced unless you are a devotee of vintage engines.
Saludos!
What a beautiful museum with a good audio guide. Super nice collection and knowledgeable staff. Definitely good for a few hours of fun. Special cars exhibited with history (transport Franco) but also unique characters including austin martin lagonda.
Thanks for your review!!!
Amazing trip Staff are lovely and so are the exhibits Its 50s diner and tech to learn about the cars are amazing All together a must do for car and history of motor enthusiasts
Thanks for your review and for mentioning our lovely staff ;)
This is a place I would recommend to anyone who has the slightest interest in cars. There are so many cars from over the last century or so and lots of cars you will recognise from films and TV series . It’s family friendly with an outdoor area where kids can play in the pedal cars . There’s also a ‘diner / bar’ that serves really tasty home made food . They pick you up from your hotel and drop you back off when you’re finished .
Thanks for your great review!!!
Another visit and another great experience. The summer red that the new boy "Ivan" has prepared for me, delicious, they would like to prepare it like this in cocktail bars, The simulator that I had not seen is a gift for lovers back to the future. Pd. The staff in general makes you feel at home, they are super friendly and friendly. You never disappoint. Thank you motor museum. Another great day I've had. Ah... next time I will use the free pickup service, often detail for people who have no way to get...ole and ole.
Gracias Iván... un cliente VIP 5 estrellas!
I never imagined this museum gem. Worth it has unique vehicles. And to end the experience, a nice burger in the diner. Great Sunday morning.
Nos alegra mucho que disfrutaras del museo... y de las hamburguesas ;)
Absolutely worth every penny, plus free pick up from hotel. Food at truck stop omg, that's all I can say
Amazing... that's a great word to describe the museum. Thanks!!!
Went recently, booked via tui rep. Picked up outside our hotel in an immaculate mini bus. Dropped outside the museum. On entering spoke with a lovely receptionist who explained everything and gave us a listening device, which was amazing idea. We could pump in the number of any vehicles we were interested in and told us in English the history of that vehicle and company. All I can say was Wow.!! How many vehicles under 1 roof..!! An amazing variety of vehicles of all ages.. . Lovely little shop and cafe bar at the end and was reasonably priced. Then they returned us to out hotel at the end of the experience. This place is a must especially if you like cars and motorbikes...the variety was vast. We were there approximately 2 and a half hours...which went very quickly. Spotlessly clean too. Excellent value for money.
Thanks for your review! We appreciate it!!!
A really lovely little museum full of fun and interesting exhibits. Suitable for everyone whether you're a keen motor enthusiast or not. There are some hands on exhibits and each item comes with it's own interesting story. On arrival you are presented with a listening device set to your preferred language and each exhibit has a number that is dialled into the listening device. My particular interest was the movie and TV vehicles, and I was especially surprised to see a replica of the landing shuttle used in the Scify series V. The staff are very helpful and informative but special shout out goes to Alik. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped take a couple of photos of us with the Back to the Future exhibit. The gift shop has plenty to choose from for children and adults. There is a diner where you can order anything from a cup of coffee to burgers, pizza and it serves alcohol too. You also get 10% off your diner order with your entry to the museum. Definitely good value for money and a great way to spend a couple of hours, especially when the weather isn't being very nice. Facilities are accessible with lifts and stair lifts between levels. There is also a play area for when the younger ones get bored. I would definitely recommend it.
Thanks for your great review! We will let Alik know your nice words.
