It was a great experience, I would definitely do this again, bring lots of water and some snacks, the water felt great especially in the hot hot summer time

My friends and I went kayaking today. This outfitter was excellent! They were so helpful. We rented the kayaks instead of going on a guided tour and it was perfect! Clear instructions and professional. Thank you

We were giving great advice on which stops to make on the river and in which order, made our experience all the more enjoyable, avoiding the crowds although we went on a day during the early heat wave (high of 104) so the crowd was minimal. Definitely try to be in the water before 10. We didn't wait at all to go into the Emerald Cave. The cave itself is actually very underwhelming and somehow smelled like urine when we went. The Echo Cave across the river was more fun. We found much brighter green water before the cave along the rock face. The kayaks were in great condition, slightly wider than other companies' so it felt really stable. Dry bags were offered with no additional cost but we didn't have the need for them. We spent 4.5 hours total, spending lots of time relaxing while letting the kayaks drift on the river, hanging out at different beaches. I would opt for a guided tour if it's your first time on this part of the Colorado River, but renting and going at our own leisure was exactly what we were looking for.

My family and I had such a great time on our excursion. We booked 4 kayaks and had 5 hours to spend however we wanted exploring the Colorado River up to the Emerald Cave. The friendly staff went over all the trip markers so we wouldn't miss anything. There were several beaches to pull up to to stop for a swim and to cool off. Such a great experience overall with breathtaking scenic views along the way. We would definitely recommend this.
