Delightful couple host/prepare the multicourse meal. Their home is lovely with a beautiful view. They made several suggestions as to where we might enjoy touring. The other three couples from the US and Australia were very pleasant. We all shared our experiences from around Lyon and in France. All in all we would recommend this tour this dinner experience

It is a unique opportunity to meet a local couple who welcomes you to their lovely home with a spectacular view of Lyon. Not only that, they prepare a delicious dinner of local favorites and sit at the table with you. It was one of the highlights of our trip. We were having trouble getting a taxi back to our hotel so they even drove us there. Way over and beyond!! It’s a must do! Thank you Joelle and Phillip.

Our hosts, Joelle and Philippe welcomed us into their home like we have known them for years. The food she served was delicious and the view was absolutely amazing.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Joelle's beautiful home. She cooked an amazing meal and she and her husband were delightful hosts. She was very communicative asking about any allergies and provided well-detailed information ( a few days before the meal) on how to find her home. If you want a special dining experience, I recommend you try her experience!

Joelle is a lovely cook and she and her husband were lovely hosts! My husband and I booked this for the last leg of our honeymoon and were looking for a delicious meal that was a different experience than taking a cooking class or eating at a restaurant. This did not disappoint! Joelle invited a couple of her friends over, whom she thoughtfully curated based on her conversations with me beforehand. Everything on the menu was really tasty and the conversation with everyone was lively and fun. (Side note - 8pm in October means the view from the rooftop is an evening view of lights - which we thought was beautiful, but something to be aware of). I highly recommend this experience.
