Joya de Ceren é um Patrimônio Mundial da UNESCO, localizado a apenas 40 minutos de San Salvador. A importância de Joya de Ceren é que é o único local arqueológico no mundo que mostra como as pessoas normais maias viviam. Joya de Ceren foi abandonada devido à erupção de um vulcão próximo e as cinzas desta erupção preservaram a aldeia para nós explorar. Tazumal tem a maior pirâmide de El Salvador. Localted em Chalchuapa, duas horas de distância de San Salvador. Tazumal é o lar de dois grandes templos.

Exceptional tour with Rosa! We wanted to come to El Salvador to explore and this tour hits all of the highlights. Ancient Mayan history, an awesome lunch at the crater of a volcano, and everything we wanted to see and do; all with a charismatic and knowledgeable guide. This tour focuses on a private group and really allows you to go far deeper into the history, culture and country.

The tour was amazing! Luis is the absolute best, if you can get him he will show you a good time. He went out of his way to show us the things we had requested and accommodated my mom’s disability. He also took photos for us and helped translate for us. We had the absolute best day due to him and also Fernando who organized the tour for us was really professional as well. I really liked this tour it was the perfect way to explore El Salvador! One day I just traveled by uber myself and that was way less enjoyable I wish I had booked a tour both days!

If you are interested in archeology and the Mayan life (also Unesco) this tour us perfect for you. Also nice was the lunch break at the volcano lake. Ferdinando was a very good and attentive guide.
