Continuamos em direção ao sul até a movimentada cidade de mercado de Alnwick, cujo maior edifício é o medieval Castelo de Alnwick*. Aproveite o tempo no centro da cidade ou permaneça no complexo do castelo, onde há algo para todos. Lar da família Percy há mais de 700 anos, o Castelo de Alnwick é considerado um dos mais belos castelos da Inglaterra e, com orgulho conhecido como "O Windsor do Norte". Os visitantes podem entrar no inesperado e espetacular Alnwick Garden, com sua maravilhosa fonte em cascata e jardins venenosos. Seus terrenos também foram usados nos filmes de Harry Potter.
Se houver tempo durante essa viagem, haverá uma parada no Flodden Field, um dos campos de batalha mais bem preservados do norte da Europa e cenário da infame batalha de 1513 que terminou em vitória para os ingleses e a morte de James IV, Rei da Escoceses.

It was a great trip with small group of 16 people. Our tour guide cum driver is Neil. He is attentive to our needs and great at sharing. Glad to be in this trip!
There is viking boat & Alnwick castle please tk that. This one didn’t give time for castle plus priery. Also that one has trip to national park
The scenery on the way there and back was amazing! Beautiful green countryside, fields and trees and cows and sheep as far as the eye could see! The castles were breathtaking, especially Bramburgh with the ocean view! David was great as a guide, but a little heavy on the gas pedal, which made the traveling a little sketchy on the way back...

We had a wonderful time on the Holy Island, Northumbria and Alnwick Castle tour. The itinerary was well organized, and all the locations were beautiful and fascinating to visit. A special mention goes to our guide, Jane, who was absolutely fantastic. She was very funny, engaging, and explained everything perfectly throughout the day. Her knowledge, enthusiasm, and sense of humor made the tour even more enjoyable and helped bring the history and stories of the region to life. Overall, this was an excellent excursion that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. A memorable day from start to finish!
