Very funny guy, was never late, was even ahead of schedule, good playlist and a nice guide all around. Told interesting facts, battles and had good recommendations for food places etc.

Deborah and Chris were amazing guides! They are from the area and extremely knowledgeable of the history, best views and best places to stop. They went out of their way to make sure everyone had a wonderful time, including a few bonus stops, since time allowed, to take in breathtaking scenery. This tour has a little for everyone, with an extraordinary castle and stunning Bass Rock, quaint seaside harbors, an historic mill, nature preserve and gardens, ancient Scottish history, some fantastic WW2 sites, architecture, golf, wildlife, plus a foodie experience! We are widely traveled and found some of the most fresh and delicious seafood and chowder you will find. This tour should be up there with highland and other more widely known destinations--in fact it is one of our favorite counties of Scotland now. Highly recommend this laid back but engaging tour that delivers so much, as well as the laid back and knowledgeable guides.

We had a fantastic day exploring East Lothian’s coast and castles. Our guide, Deborah, was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the area. She shared lots of interesting local history and stories, and the pace of the tour was relaxed with plenty of time to enjoy each stop. The scenery was beautiful, and Deborah helped make the whole experience both informative and fun. Highly recommended!
This tour was above expectations and we enjoyed this more than other tours we have been on during our trip. Got to see the Eastern side if Scotland and it was stunning. Saw the sea and even saw seals sitting on the rocks. A stop at some gardens and a bite to eat. Onto see a golf course and stunning views. Stopped at a working mill whrre scenes from outlander were filmed then to the birthplace of the Scotish flag. So much history. Onto Tantallon Castle . Stunning views from on top and overlooking the sea. Picture perfect moments. The castle was relaxing and no big crowds so enjoyed exploring everything. A stop at New Berwick for lunch and shopping. We got to sneak in another castle as we had time. Stopped at Dirleton Castle. Another great stop with no crowds. This tour should not be missed. It is relaxing and away from the big crowds on other tours. The sea side trip has stunning views and offers a different perspective of history. Deb, our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and so informative. You won't regret taking this tour.

Had an amazing experience! Deborah was very knowledgeable and a great storyteller. I really enjoyed hearing more about history and exploring less crowded attractions. If I come back I'll definitely be booking another adventure with Stewart tours.
