Early or Morning My Son Sanctuary & Boat Trip w Comida tradicional

Great trip. Everything was delivered exactly as stated in advance. Organization-wised, everything runned very smoothly. Our guide was very kind.

Mr. Van was the most amazing tour guide we could’ve hoped for. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the Sanctuary as well as Vietnam history and was able to answer any and all questions. He was also incredibly kind and helpful during our entire tour and made the experience one we will hold with us for the rest of our lives. He showed us the best spots to take photos and even helped us get the right angles for the best pictures of the sanctuary.

Thank you so much for a great morning. We chose the early morning tour to My Son to beat the crowds and heat and it was definitely worth the early alarm clock. Thanks to Tony our guide and to the driver whose name I have forgotten, apologies. They were timely, professional, helpful and kind. We spent a good amount of time at My Son, free time and also guided. The arrival tea/coffee/water was very welcomed. The chicken noodle soup for breakfast was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed the rice noodle making. The finishing boat trip was good but we could definitely have done without the terrible disco music. Thankfully the captain read the crowd and it was turned off after 2 songs- thank you.

Amy was an amazing guide and the driver was also very kind! Good combination of information on the tour and some time to explore in your own time. The rice paper making doesn't feel forced and is a fun little activity. Overall a really fun tour with Amy as an amazing guide, definitely recommended!!

Our guide, Tony, was great! He was really friendly, he’s well-versed in the history of the My Son Sanctuary and gave a very detailed breakdown of the temples. It was a great experience that everyone, who loves history, should try. The traditional food and boat ride were great too.

The intricacies, context, and mystery of the Champa Kingdom in My Son was thoroughly explored during this tour. Our guide, Mr. Van was always happy to share various tidbits and answer any questions throughout the leisurely walk. It was a joy to stroll around the fascinating ruins with such a fount of knowledge!

We did an early morning tour (pickup 5am) of the My Son temple ruins. We had a greta history and architecture lesson, had plenty of time to wander the grounds, and a fantastic meal of my quang noodle for breakfast. After that, we visited a local farm where we learned how rice is processed, and we learned how to make rice paper from the sweetest auntie. She was so welcoming and warm, we wanted to stay with her all day! Then we took a boat ride to Hoi An Old Town, which was very fun and relaxing. The boat driver was hilarious and showed us some of the famed Vietnamese hospitality we have been so fortunate to experience here. Our van ride was comfortable and air-conditioned. For the value, this trip was 100% worth it. We were back to Hoi An by 11 and had plenty of time left in the day to do more activities. If I were to recommend anything to someone looking to book this tour, definitely book the early morning tour as it was already very hot by the time we got here; we couldn’t imagine doing the tours later in the day! Lastly, I want to give a special shoutout to our guide, Mr. Tony. He was thorough, informative, and clearly very passionate about this magical place. He made sure we were all having a great time throughout the duration of the tour. We learned more about Vietnam during this tour than we had on previous tours to other attractions. If you get the chance to book with Tony, you are guaranteed to have a great time on this tour!
