Durango Colorado - Rafting 1/4 dia

My wife and I had a marvelous time on the Animus River. The folks at Colorado Outback Adventures are very friendly and professional. Our guide Hailey was a rock star! Everything was easy, and the drive to their office was only 7 minutes from where we stayed. And being on the river is really special. In addition to the boat ride itself, the scenery is pretty great. And there was a good bit of wildlife in and around the water. We'll do this again!

It was the first rafting trip for our 7- and 5-year-old, and it was the perfect introduction to the experience! Our guide, Ben, made it fun and engaging for the kids—and for all of us. The river was low, but it didn’t detract from the experience at all. We still hit some fun rapids, and the kids kept asking for more!

Great experience on the Animas River. COA was superb and their river guides ensured the family had an amazing time. It was my daughters first experience and the “rapids” were the perfect first exposure to rafting.

It was an overall amazing experience. Our river guide Adam was very experienced and made our rafting adventure fun and safe. He also shared stories and historical facts about the region. There was two spots were we could get of the raft and cool off a bit. The lady driver was also amazing and shared some of her knowledge with us. Highly recommend this adventure. I wish we had more time and did a longer one.

Fun energetic guides with knowledge of the river. Made everyone feel safe and had knowleged of the history of the town.

Staff were very helpful and friendly with answering any questions. Our guide was very relaxed and fun to ride with. Downside was there were a lot of rafts out that Saturday as it was a gorgeous day for rafting!
