Este é um passeio para aqueles que estão aptos, flexíveis e querem ter uma idéia da cidade, de um local com muito conhecimento. Eu trabalhei na propriedade e política, nesta cidade há muitos anos, então tenho muito a dizer! No entanto, como é o seu dia e sua turnê, eu tomo a liderança dos interesses do cliente e se eu vejo os olhos vidrados, mudamos de assunto / fazer uma pausa / mudar o plano. Você tem um guia por um dia e nós aproveitamos ao máximo - eu acredito em ser flexível e aberto. As excursões anteriores onde nós fomos fora do plano tomaram-nos em viagens do trem, fora ao quarto judaico, um rastejamento temático do bar - você está em um feriado, não uma excursão da escola!

Itinerário
Começamos no lindo bairro georgiano da cidade, onde você encontrará nossos museus, galerias, bibliotecas e o Parlamento de Dublin. Vamos mergulhar neles para um rápido passeio pelos destaques, cobrindo arte, literatura e os tesouros do nosso museu arqueológico. Dois destaques para mim são uma medalha Nobel de literatura e o passaporte de WB Yeats! Se você estiver interessado em James Joyce, ligaremos para a Sweny's, uma farmácia que abriu em 1847 e pouco mudou. Ele apareceu em uma cena da obra-prima de Joyce e agora funciona como um Centro Joyce, administrado por voluntários. Ocasionalmente temos uma música cantada para nós aqui! E, claro, visitaremos Oscar - Oscar Wilde, ex-morador de Merrion Square e famoso autor, dramaturgo e poeta. Há uma escultura fabulosa dele no parque, perto de sua antiga casa.
A caminho do Castelo de Dublin, percorreremos uma rota incomum pelo distrito central de Dublin. Esta é uma rota que mostra nossa maravilhosa mistura de lojas, pubs, restaurantes e prédios históricos e dará uma olhada em alguns fantásticos tetos georgianos. Esta parte do passeio também é geralmente o momento em que fazemos uma pausa em um dos pubs antigos e atmosféricos de Dublin que fazem comida bem e eu tenho muitas sugestões...
O Castelo de Dublin foi a sede do domínio britânico por mais de 700 anos e é um interessante complexo de edifícios. Podemos visitar os State Apartments, visitando a antiga sala do trono e vendo o St Patrick's Hall, onde nossos presidentes são empossados. Há também um Museu da Receita para quem estiver interessado em impostos! Os lindos jardins nas traseiras proporcionam um espaço relaxante e bem-vindo e o restaurante nas proximidades do Museu Chester Beatty é popular entre os clientes.
No caminho para a Catedral de São Patrício, daremos uma olhada na Prefeitura de Dublin, se estiver aberta. Também passamos pelo 'peixe e picador' mais famoso de Dublin, Bardanas. Fora deste famoso local há uma longa lista de pessoas famosas que gostaram da loja de batatas fritas favorita de Dubliner! (Você pode conhecer batatas fritas como batatas fritas!) Em seguida, caminharemos pelo St Patrick's Park para visitar a maior Catedral da Irlanda, datada de 1195. Este é um lugar fascinante com túmulos, monumentos, história feliz e triste e é um edifício que significa muito para a maioria dos irlandeses. Johnathon Swift, autor de As Viagens de Gulliver, foi reitor aqui por muitos anos e está enterrado na catedral.
Retornaremos à área central pela Marsh's Library, a biblioteca pública mais antiga da Irlanda, fundada pelo Arcebispo Narcissus Marsh. Você pode ver as gaiolas em que estava trancado se quisesse emprestar os livros e a biblioteca é como algo de um filme de Harry Potter, e muito charmosa. Vou guiá-lo por algumas ruas interessantes, antes de deixá-lo no mesmo lugar em que nos encontramos - a menos que você prefira algum outro destino. Eu sou bastante flexível nas coisas - eu quero que você aproveite o seu dia e sinta a nossa linda cidade e se divirta!

Wonderful walking tour. Dairine was a great guide! Provided so much history about Dublin and enjoyed all of the places we visited. She tailored the tour to what she thought was interesting and what we would want to see, which was great! Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if there is any chance of rain. Be aware that the entry fees are not included in the tour price. However, nothing was very expensive. Would not hesitate to recommend this tour or Dairine enough!

Most delightful day with Dairine. She is very knowledgeable and is a great tour guide. Unfortunately, the weather was rainy all day long. But that did not keep us from having a wonderful day touring St. Patrick'sCathedral and the Book of Kell's. Had a great Irish lunch at a local pub together with a Harp beer. Highly recommend this tour.

My family of four did a walking tour of Dublin with Dairine. She is very knowledgeable and made the tour interesting and fun! We would have missed many of the sights without her. She packed so much information and sight seeing in just a few hours! We definitely recommend her to show you Dublin!

My wife and I went to Dublin to celebrate my birthday. We decided to book a one day, private walking tour of the city as we wanted to have the flexibility to change the itinerary on the fly and ask questions as we walked around the city. Our guide, Dairine Nuttall, did a fabulous job on delivering Dublin to us on a silver platter. We saw the entire city, walking 12km, and were provided the history and local information on the sights we viewed. Dairine took us to some 'off the beaten track' stops to be educated and entertained with stories of historical and human interest. At the end of the day, we had seen places that we knew we wanted to more thoroughly tour. We were happy to relax at our hotel with a pint of the dark stuff and relive the day and set the schedule of our further exploration for the next day. We cannot recommend Dairine enough, she enabled us to know and embrace the face and fabric of Dublin.

Me and my friend did walking tour of Dublin docks with Dairine and I found the tour to be super helpful. I have been to Dublin for 2 months now and wanted to understand the history and story behind different sculptures and bridges present in the city. Dairine raised in Dublin was sufficiently aware of the city's history and gave us different perspective to look into the city.

Dairine was a wonderful guide. We deliberately arranged our layover to be long enough to allow a quick trip into Dublin. With no time to waste trying to navigate the city ourselves, we decided to book a private tour. We are so happy we did. Dairine is a true professional. She was responsive via email in arranging the tour. She picked us up with no issue at arrivals in her immaculate car, and we were off. She quickly assessed our interests and personalized a tour that was absolutely perfect. We had an ideal mix of the beautiful outdoors and a sampling of museums and landmarks. Her selections fit our time-crunched schedule and suited our style. She discussed topical cultural and political issues and pointed out fascinating details in art, architecture, and archeology. We absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a guided tour. We plan to return to Ireland, next time for a proper stay. When we do, we will certainly book with Dairine again.
