Duas semanas em Sri Lanka

The best part of this tour was Sri Lanka. The next best thing was the food. Our guide, Sidath Thilakarathna, made everything extra special. Sidath was able to figure out exactly what we wanted to do and to find the best local restaurants and guides. He took such great care to make sure the trip went as we wanted.

With our drive/ guide Sidath Thilakarathna we had a wonderful experience, Not only is he a kind and attentive person, he is a safe driver and he provided us with excellente recommendations and information. Thanks to his knowledge of the cultural and tourist scene we felt he picked the best for us ( dolphin watch, village tour, safari) and our experience often went far beyond our expectations . Sidath also show flexibility when we asked to change some parts of the programme and offered alternatives. He was open to our suggestions for places to eat and made some suggestions to offer her an authentic culinary experience.

We largely took the trip BH suggested with some specific modifications and BH were great at listening, adjusting and affecting alternatives when required. Sidath Thilakarathna our guide was key, e.g he got us to the train towards Jaffna finding a station for us to pick up train and had a friend meet us at the other end until he was able to get there. He quickly worked out our rhythm, he took the initiative to make adjustments and suggestions, seemed to know the perfect guides for the wild life parts (knowledgeable and respectful of the wild life) and was spot on in terms of getting us ready for what to expect at each visit. He really was key to what has been an absolutely amazing two weeks.

A most pleasant and professional experience from the moment we were collected from the airport all the way up to the drop off two weeks later ! We were expertly looked after by Janaka for the whole two weeks. His insight into Sri Lanka’s history, culture, food and traditions made our trip a memorable one. I cannot recommend him enough ! The choice of hotels was of the highest calibre as was the schedule crafted for us. If i were to highlight anything, it has to be the safaris. Wildlife at such close quarters is a beauty to marvel at. Our holiday was an absolute success thanks to all those that made it so 🙏🏽

Ayobowan! What an unbelievable holiday. Everything was taken care of right from the start with an airport transfer to our hotel room after we arrived into Colombo at midnight. We met our wonderful driver Mr Darshana who showed us the beautiful country for the 14 days we were with him. His knowledge of the history and landscape of Sri Lanka were excellent and we learnt so much from him. Being a private tour it was just my wife and I but at the hotel rooms you got to meet other travellers as well. Prices for the optional experiences were very reasonable and we never felt pressured into doing anything we didn’t want to do, you also have the option of changing the itinerary to suit your needs if required. We absolutely loved Sigiriya, Ella and Dickwella, being the highlights of our trip. Everyone in Sri Lanka was super friendly and always felt welcomed everywhere we went. Definitely will recommend to friends and family back home

After much research I booked a 14 day slendid adventure tour with BH Lanka. Their tour sure lived up to it's name and offered the best value for money whilst covering all the main highlights and much more. I received the full itinerary, hotel and activity details before my arrival. I was welcomed with a traditional Sri Lankan hospitality and so began my adventure. I would like to give a special thank you to my wonderful driver, Heshan. He was courteous and polite and maintained an excellent level of professionalism, ensuring I was safe and comfortable at all times. As a solo female traveller this is especially important in making a holiday a postive experience. Heshan was able to offer advice on good places to eat and shop and it was great to be able to rely on local expertise. My tour covered safari, beach days, hike up Sigiriya and visits to all the main temples and stupas. Main highlight was reaching the summit of Adams peak, a truly memorable experience. The tour company was fantastic in accommodating my needs as I had requested at very short notice to change a day in my itinerary. Sri Lanka is an amazing and beautiful country. The people are lovely and friendly and it is a trip of a lifetime!!

We had a wonderful trip to Sri Lanka. Our driver Udara was fabulous and took us to many sights at the perfect time. We arrived at The Temple of the Tooth just at the half hour viewing when the bejeweled cask was opened and at a temple just as the monks were returning for the evening. We viewed the elephants just as they were coming in to drink, etc. He had superior knowledge and made our time in Sri Lanka very special, he was also a lot of fun and looked after us (2 ladies) and made sure we were safe from marauding monkeys.

Good tour with excellent guide Chinthaka. Our guide/driver was really helpful and attentive. He helped my wife find the fruits and vegetables she wanted, and went out of his way to add individual activities not in the itinerary. We would definitely recommend the guide. About the tour itself, we had booked the All island Discovery tour - a small group tour, so were surprised that only 2 of us were on tour, when at the time of booking we were told there were 3 others on the tour. If we had known it was effectively a private tour, we would have tried tailoring the itinerary. So an opportunity missed. Otherwise a good tour and good value for money.

14 days roundtrip, highlights of Sri Lanka, visting Unesco sights, wildlife parks, gardens, tea region, tempels and historic sites. Professional organised by BH Lanka, very good hotels and very pleasant and knowledegable driver Nishanta, all positief. On arrival at the airport picked up and brought to the hotel in Negombo, next day started the tour. Sigirya, ballon ride, east coast Passikudha, central Danbulla, kandy, Eliya, south Yala park, Dickwella, and back up on the west coast Galle, Beruwala, towards Colombo. Wonderfull trip, very pleasant people, full recommandation.

This was the best trip that we have ever done to this region. It is not just what you see and experience that makes a trip so special. It was our amazing and soooo friendly guide Chami.
