Downtown SLO Brunch Food & Drink Walking Tour

The tour guide (Angie) was very well informed. She did an excellent job. She was very personable and I couldn't have asked for a better guide. I personally thought the price was a bit too expensive. I have been on several food tours throughout the country and the food selection for this one was a little less than stellar. The portions were meager at a few of the places and the management at a couple of the restaurants seemed less than prepared for our group. Overall it was entertaining and I will certainly recommend this company.

You meet up at SLO BBQ in the beer area. Angi was great! Knowledgeable and a great guide! The food was amazing and we covered a wide variety of cuisine and downtown.

The tour was awesome, Angela our guide was wonderful. We had a small intimate group so lots of nice conversation and history was shared. The food was great as well and Angela made sure what we were getting was something we would eat. Tried the Peruvian food and was not disappointed.

Your guide will lead you to the best of up & coming restaurants, establishments of significance, etc. Not only are the food & drinks excellent at each stop, your guide is attentive to your input and provides sustenance for the heart & soul as you take in your surroundings and gain an appreciation of their origins allowing you to savor each moment. Since the featured venues change, booking a second or third tour on future visits is also highly recommended. Lastly, if context is for kings, you will feel like royalty walking away with more than you can carry (knowledge & wisdom really are the greatest treasures). This tour is time well spent!

It was just wonderful! The selection of the restaurants, food & drinks provided was amazing! The host, Angee, was very friendly and accommodating, she made sure everybody was having a great time. It was also informative and educational regarding the history of SLO. Just make sure you’re hungry before you go. Each place provides you with generous amounts of food and drink. The bonus was we were given a pretty keep sake of delicious honey caramels and beautiful chocolate candies. We were very impressed with Granada Hotel and we actually went back to the hotel bar right after the tour for another cocktail! Definitely we recommend this tour. FYI, we joined the Mojo Uptown Walking Food tour last May and we ended up staying in uptown for this latest trip. The tour gave us a great prospective of SLO as well.

Best tour host, best food and drinks, great town. We had a blast and were SO FULL at the end of the tour. The walking distance is broken up a lot with the different stops so don't be intimidated. Angee is so fun and engaging with everyone and you can tell the restaurants adore her and love having her tours stop by. Trust me, it makes a difference with the experience.

Lots of different culinary tastes. Angie was great and charming and, with her great personality and her knowledge of these out of the way great eating and drinking establishments, made the entire experience a thing to remember. We would do it again.

Our tour guide, Angee, was very professional, knowledgeable, personable, and fun. She made our experience delightful! The food and drinks were awesome. The highlight of our tour was the French Toast and drink selection at the Granada Hotel & Bistro. We ended the tour with fantastic chocolates of our choice. We highly recommend this tour for adults of all ages!
