A qualidade de nossos guias, vinhos e as vinícolas visitadas se destacam de outros passeios. O passeio começa com uma visita a um produtor de vinhos portuários: Quinta da Roêda. Haverá um passeio guiado personalizado pelas vinhas onde será explicado o processo de fabricação do vinho do porto. A degustação de vinhos será acompanhada por uma cuidadosa seleção de queijos Português. Após a degustação, embarcaremos em um passeio de barco de 1 hora onde a calma do rio nos inspirará. Este passeio calmante é o melhor momento para contemplar a paisagem e a natureza do Vale do Douro. O almoço é servido em uma bela fazenda com vista para as vinhas, onde existem várias opções alimentares: peixe, carne ou vegetarianos. Tudo está incluído no preço. A segunda vinícola é um pequeno produtor de vinho de mesa, será uma oportunidade interessante para ter mais contato com os locais. A visita termina com uma degustação de azeite.

A pick-up será feita em um ponto de pick-up na cidade de Porto, a viagem para o Vale do Douro é de cerca de 1h30 minutos.
Visita à Quinta do Panascal, onde faremos um passeio pelas vinhas e uma degustação de 3 vinhos do Porto.
Excursão de uma hora em um típico barco de madeira de Pinhão.
Breve passagem pela aldeia de Pinhão, no coração do Vale do Douro.
Passando pela estação de trem de Pinhão.
Almoço em uma vinícola com uma escolha de pratos de peixe, carne ou vegetariano. Vista panorâmica dos vinhedos.
Visite um produtor local onde vamos provar vinhos de mesa, azeite e mel. Ótimo momento para interação com os moradores.
Retorno à cidade de Porto com saída no ponto de recolha.

We had an incredible tour to the Douro valley. Our guide Sarah was fabulous. She arrived right on time, was friendly, knowledgeable, funny, excellent English, and a good driver (very important in Portugal where some drivers are definitely not!) The tour itself was wonderful. We had booked this tour because it included options other than port, which we had tried at home and didn’t really love. Port here in Portugal is way way better! The first stop had 3 different ports - a white, a ruby and a tawny and all were excellent! The next stop was the boat ride which was beautiful. After this was a delicious lunch (I had chicken and my husband had fish and both were great. Lots of wine with lunch. Next we went to an organic winery and had a white, a rosé, 2 reds and a port. We bought some to take home it was so wonderful (note only one place was selling things which was perfect for us - don’t love being asked to buy over and over). They also had olive oil and 3 types of honey. Highly highly recommend!!!

Do not pick this company if going with a group bigger than 8. We had a group of 10 and I found out the day before our tour (and after we had been charged) that 2 people were going to be split from our group and put with another group and tour guide. The company acted like it was no big deal, we would only be separated for the driving part. It was a big deal. The driving is the majority of the trip. It was unfortunate because 2 people from our group had a completely different experience than the rest. We were under the impression from the beginning that they could accommodate a group of 10. If we would have known that they couldn’t then we would have went with another company.

As stated in the tour description, this is a Small-Group Tour, with each vehicle accommodating a maximum of 8 guests. Since your booking was for 10 people, the group had to be divided between two vehicles. We understand this was disappointing, but unfortunately it is not possible to exceed the vehicle capacity. We took the Douro Valley Premium Small-Group tour with guide Sergio, had a wonderful day from pickup from our hotel in Porto, very picturesque ride to the Douro Valley, two stops at lovely wineries with tastings of Port and wine while enjoying scenic overviews of the beautiful Douro Valley, informative tour of how Porto is made, scenic stops for pictures, a lovely river cruise then fantastic lunch with wine outdoors in the shade at a winery turned boutique hotel. We finished with a final Port and wine tasting at a unique winery before heading back to Porto and drop off at our hotel. Sergio was a fantastic tour guide, knowledgeable, considerate, so pleasant and fun to spend the day with! We highly recommend this tour for a great day out!

Our guide, Nuno, was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour itself is well-structured to give you a perfect day-trip glimpse of the beauty of the valley and great variety of wines while never feeling rushed. Overall, amazing tour well worth the price. However, it would be great if the company could be more flexible with pickup location. Our group (which consisted of us and another family) were all staying on the Gaia side and were all told we could only be picked up on the Porto side of the Luis I bridge - which for us was a 25 minute walk from our hotel in the early morning. If the company knows there are only two groups of guests all staying on Gaia, it shouldn't be so difficult to adjust the pickup strategy.

What a wonderful experience. Nuno was our guide and was truly excellent and so caring. We happened to get lucky being paired with just one other couple for the trip and they were awesome. We started out driving to Douro valley. Stopped at one place and got to try 3 different port wines. Then we went to the boat ride which was really lovely. After that we stopped at a lookout point to take a photo. Next we had lunch and it was just the perfect setting outside. The chicken was absolutely delicious. We had white and red wine at this stop. Lastly, we stopped at an organic winery and had such a lovely man show the group around. It was informative and very well done. We had a few wine and port tastings, got to try 3 types of honey and their olive oil. After the tour you were able to purchase whatever you liked. It was a full day from 830-530 but I wouldn't have changed a thing.
