Wonderful tour in Douro Valley. Our hosts Andreia and Valdemar created a memorable day with touring 3 quaint quintas and took us to a typical Portuguese restaurant for a delicious lunch. The tastings, the views and all of the commentaries made this day exceptional. Thank you again Andreia and Valdemar

Andrea and Valdemar were fantastic. We got to try three amazing small family wineries. Roncao was my favorite, but be prepared for a fast talker! A highlight was lunch. We got to try some authentic Portuguese. And by “some,” I mean it was a feast! I recommend coming with a breakfast big enough to go to a wine tasting in the morning, but small enough enjoy a very large lunch. There were so many amazing views along the way. We even met a kitten! 10/10 recommend

My friends and I booked the "Amazing Wine Tours" through airbnb for my 30th birthday and it is my favorite birthday I've ever had. It will likely hold that title for awhile. Andreia and Valdemar were awesome. We ended up staying at an airbnb in Regua and they came to pick us up in their shuttle van. They were super sweet and accommodating. From letting one of our group members bring her luggage (she had earlier flight than the rest of us), to taking us by a coffee shop for breakfast in the morning before hitting the wineries, to taking us to a grocery store at the end of the night so we wouldn't have to call a taxi to go back into town, they truly went above and beyond for us. Andreia took so many pictures for us and made sure everyone got their perfect angles. We had wonderful conversations about the douro valley region, wine, geopolitics, family, etc. The owners and staff at the wineries we went to were also great and their wine and olive oil was so good. We were there in January so the weather was not great and there were mudslides washing out roads, but the wineries were still beautiful as ever and Valdemar knew all the routes for detours. I cannot recommend this tour enough!!

Had an absolutely amazing time, they are very kind and informative. It was great to see Douro valley with someone local and enjoy some excellent wine experiences and great lunch!

Our family of 5 had a fantastic time touring the wineries and country-side with Andreia and her husband, Valdemar, as driver. The wineries we stopped at were excellent, with each providing history and multiple tastings (we liked every one!). They chose a great restaurant for lunch and had put in an order ahead of time so that the food was ready for us when we stopped. Loved the selection of fish and pork dishes that were chosen. Andreia took many photos of us at our stops. A very nice touch. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful day with Andreia as our tour guide and her husband, Valdemar as our driver! We got to experience 3 different small wineries with very different winemaking styles and tastes. We learned so much both from the actual wineries but also from Andrieia along the drive. The Duoro Valley is absolutely stunning and loaded with history. They also took us to 2 stunning overlooks for incredible views. A wonderful lunch of local cuisine was also included. This tour surpassed all other wine tours that we’ve ever had and we’ve done a ton of them around the world. Valdemar was an excellent driver! There were some crazy roads that he drove like an expert…thank you for our safety! The couple that was also on the tour had some concerns (car sickness and heights) and were taken well care of by Valdemar and Andreia. Their comfort was always top concern. I can’t say enough positive things… the whole day was amazing! I know we can’t control who you get as a guide on this trip, but they can make or break the enjoyment. We are so happy we got them…and no, I am not her mother!! 😊

I highly recommend Douro Wine Tours. Andreia was friendly, informative, and a lot of fun. She took us to three very different wineries,each with different types of wine and each with their unique history. Well worth the time and money.
