- 07h30: Nosso guia e carro irão buscá-lo em seu hotel no centro de Hue, pronto para iniciar o DMZ Tour Hue. Visitando lugares: - Horror Highway: a horrível carnificina na Vietnam Highway 1. Milhares de civis, principalmente idosos, mulheres, crianças e dezenas de soldados foram mortos por armas de artilharia e infantaria em horas de tiroteio. - Long Hung Church: um dos poucos edifícios existentes permanece na cidade de Quang Tri durante o “Verão do Fogo” ou Ofensiva Oriental em 1972. É uma Relíquia Nacional na cidade de Quang Tri Vietnam – BA5453. - Quang Tri Ancient Citadel: é vista como uma testemunha ocular de batalhas ferozes durante a guerra de resistência anti-americana em 1972. Durante os combates de 81 dias, a cidadela foi quase destruída por milhares de toneladas de bombas lançadas pelo exército dos EUA. Hoje em dia, a cidadela se torna um lugar para comemorar as vitórias imortais do exército e do povo vietnamita e para educar os jovens sobre a tradição revolucionária da nação e seu patriotismo.
- Continue a viagem, paramos para visitar: - Dakrong Bridge: a ponte foi considerada o início da rede Ho Chi Minh Trail e, durante muitos anos da Guerra do Vietnã, esse ponto de acesso foi muito disputado. A ponte Dakrong caiu muitas vezes. Agora é uma grande ponte pênsil, com um orgulhoso nariz empinado como se dissesse: “Você não pode mais derrubar minha ponte”. - No caminho, os turistas também têm chances de conhecer a aldeia minoritária de Paco. - Aeroporto de Ta Con: agora é o Museu da Base de Combate de Khe Sanh, contém um cemitério de vários tanques americanos capturados e aeronaves destruídas durante a Batalha de Khe Sanh. Tem 178 m de comprimento, mas levou 21 anos para os vietnamitas do norte e do sul se unirem. - Túneis Vinh Moc e Museu dos Túneis: A parte mais destacada do DMZ Tour durante a Guerra do Vietnã. O complexo do túnel Vinh Moc localizado no fundo da Zona Desmilitarizada Vietnamita e abrigou a população do condado de Vinh Linh do intenso bombardeio. Os túneis foram um sucesso em salvar a vida dos aldeões e fornecer-lhes as condições de vida necessárias para lutar contra o inimigo americano.

Hoa was an incredible guide, personable and informative. We really enjoyed her explanations. Long drive but obviously can’t be helped. The tunnels are a major highlight! We’re giving a good mark because we think Hoa and the sites deserve it but the driver was TERRIBLE. Genuinely reckless. we’ve driven in hectic China, Mexico, and multiple other Vietnam cities, we’ve never had a driver that made us feel unsafe like he did.
A big thank you to Kahnh for taking such great care of us during our tour! Her communication was clear and professional throughout. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the sites visited and was so enthusiastic about her country's amazing history! The highlight of the tour is undoubtedly the Vinh Moc tunnels. However, the other sites provided valuable context. As others have mentioned, the tour involves a fair amount of driving, but good use was made of this time by explaining some of the background. On the whole, I felt that it was nicely paced.
A long day trip that was worth taking to hear and see the range of sites that are important to the DMZ. Our guide was excellent and was able to provide a lot of relevant and interesting information. The Vinh Mic tunnels and the Khe Sanh base with the examples of US helicopters were the highlights for us. The drive up to the base along the road to Laos was also spectacular.
Vivian was a fantastic guide. She was friendly, professional, and spoke excellent English. She explained the history clearly and gave us plenty of interesting details throughout the tour, including at the bridge and the Vịnh Mốc Tunnels. The whole experience was very well organized, and I really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this tour.
We had a great tour with guide Thuan. She gave a lot of explanations and background information so we now also have a good view of the history seen from Vietnam. All stops were very interesting with the highlight, the tunnel complex. We highly recommend this tour!
It was a very nice experience. Our group existed of only 2 people so we got a very personalized experience. Our tour guide Khanh vas very knowledgeable, but most important, she was open to answer questions and engage in the conversation and jokes with us. It didn’t feel like a textbook history lesson, but truly like a warm (also literally with 37 degrees), pure, and joyful learning experience. The drives were long, but since we received the information and had interesting conversations during the ride, we got more than enough time per site to explore and do our own thing as well. Can absolutely recommend. 5/5
It was a very nice tour. Lots of information. It was incredibly fascinating. Our guide was khahn and she spoke very good English. Highly recommended this tour. Going into the vinh moc tunnels was really a wonderful experience but so was the rest.
