Imjingak, um símbolo do desejo de reunificação coreana, é um parque temático único com passeios ao lado de cercas de arame farpado. Abriga relíquias históricas como a Ponte da Liberdade, usada por 13.000 prisioneiros de guerra para a liberdade, e uma chaminé de locomotiva a vapor da Guerra da Coréia, abandonada por 55 anos.
A ponte Mangbaedan no rio Imjingang, atravessada por 13.000 prisioneiros de guerra em 1953 durante a Guerra da Coreia, simboliza o seu “retorno à liberdade”.
A DMZ (Zona Desmilitarizada) é uma zona de demarcação militar entre a Coreia do Norte e a Coreia do Sul, onde as atividades militares são proibidas. É um símbolo significativo da divisão na península coreana desde a Guerra da Coreia. Teatro DMZ O Teatro DMZ, muitas vezes localizado dentro ou perto da DMZ Exhibition Hall em DMZ serve como um espaço de narrativa imersivo onde os visitantes podem aprofundar seu entendimento da zona desmilitarizada coreana e seu significado. O Observatório Dora oferece uma visão de perto da Coreia do Norte, incluindo a cidade de Gaeseong e o Complexo Industrial de Gaeseong. Os visitantes também podem ver uma falsa aldeia fronteiriça norte-coreana chamada “Vila de Propaganda”, onde as luzes são manipuladas para criar a ilusão de atividade.

This was a very insightful and enjoyable experience. Jackie was informational and amusing. We had the North Korean defector on the tour (not the suspension bridge add-on though) and the interview was amazing and definitely a highlight. She was fantastic at answering questions and her story brought such an interesting dimension to the tour. Thought-provoking with plenty of things to do.
Best DMZ tour highly recommended with the excellent guide Han. He id extremely knowledgable. He made all the stops and he has all the information that you need about the history of the DMZ, Northkorea that he readily shares. The best tour!!!

It was informative and interesting. It was great to hear from the North Korean refugee on the bus. The tunnel was very hard and I would have avoided that if I had realised how difficult it was physically. The rest was all great! The host Han marvellous. Except he never sent the group photo from front of the DMZ sign he promised to send everyone…. But that is a small thing. It is a long day but worth it.

Many asked if it was scary. I was surprised to hear that question . but it wasnt at all. It was fascinating, Informative, exciting and surprisingly fun. We had a great tour guide.
