Na entrada de Rugova está o Patriarcado de Peja. O mosteiro está localizado nas bordas de um antigo Siperant romano e bizantino.O complexo do mosteiro, composto por quatro igrejas, das quais três igrejas conectadas como um todo, foi construído no primeiro terço do século XIII, 1321-24 e 1330 –37..Está protegido pela UNESCO desde 2003, e por mais de 300 anos foi protegido por uma família Rugova com o título de “voivode”.
A Mesquita Bajrakli é a principal mesquita situada no centro do Bazar de Peja. Foi construída em 1471 pelo sultão Fatih Mehmet Hani e é uma mesquita de cúpula única de estilo otomano com a cúpula mais antiga e mais alta da cidade.
Tahir Bey Inn, onde está localizado o Museu Etnológico, agora apresenta uma antiga casa da cidade que pertence à segunda parte do século XVIII. Esta casa é também bastante interessante ao nível da preservação dos elementos arcaicos, onde o interior está quase intacto, pelo que a casa é um objecto de significado cultural, quer em termos arquitectónicos, quer em termos etnológicos. Além disso, no museu estão expostas mais de 120 exposições que ilustram a cultura e as tradições deste país.

Great introduction to Peja and the nature is very beautiful. The private transport was nice and effortless for us to just sit back and enjoy. We were glad we did not attempt to drive the small road in Ragova Canyon and by the cave. Recommend doing as soon as you arrive to the city.
Unforgettable trip! Everything was perfect, Esat was so nice and friendly, and gave great explanations. The trip is mixing culture, history and nature and I would recommend everybody to take it. Thank you Esat!
A very interesting and enriching tour. It brings you closer to Kosovo culture and the beautiful landscapes of the mountains.
Visar was a wonderful guide. Our bus was late arriving in Peje and so we missed our meeting point. A phone call to Visar enabled us to find each other. Visar was very flexible in allowing us to join the tour late and made a special effort to ensure that when the tour was over we arrived in time to catch the bus back to Prizren where we were staying. The tour itself was a very good mix of cultural and geographical sites in Peje - to get a good understanding of the history of Peje and the beauty of its surroundings I would highly recommend this tour and Visar the guide.

I would highly recommend this tour. Perfect length. Got to see all the key nearby beautiful landmarks in a very comfortable car. My tour guide Esat was very informative and I very much enjoyed our chats. He was very patient and tour moved at nice pace.

East was a wonderful guide. Highly recommend him. We started the trip in pretty Peja, then we discovered Rugova, which is magnificent. Next week discovered the Sleeping beauty cave. Good tour, great to see a little of the area, but it was Visar who completed the whole experience - he was excellent. Recommend.
Visar was a truly amazing host . A very kind considerate host with an excellent knowledge of the area as he went to school and is a real local . Each part of the tour was exceptional . The water fall , mountains and caves were all unique experiences and it was nice to start off with a tour of the town . If you visit Peja you must do this tour and I guarantee it will be the high of the trip to Peja
