Descubra Ella - Ella Rock, Little Adam's Peak e Nine Arch Bridge

Not recommended for solo travelers I booked this tour from Ella based on the reviews, and unfortunately my experience was quite different from what I expected. The guide was friendly, helpful, and willing to assist when needed. However, during the tour there was a lot of unnecessary conversation and several moments where I felt the guide was trying to promote or sell additional services and activities. As a solo traveler, this made me feel uncomfortable and took away from the experience. I understand that guides may receive commissions from certain activities or services, but I personally prefer a tour where the focus is on sightseeing, local information, and enjoying the destination rather than repeated selling or promoting. For solo travelers, I would recommend asking clearly in advance what is included in the tour and whether there will be any additional sales or commission-based activities. Unfortunately, based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this tour to other solo travelers.

I had a great time with Sanju. I originally booked this as a join-in group tour on Booking.com but it turned out to be just me and Sanju in his tuktuk. He was great company and easy to talk to. I loved the views from Ella Rock and Adam's Peak and Sanju also took some great photos at the different stops. He was very flexible with the pace and we enjoyed a lovely Sri Lanka lunch at the end

I had an absolutely incredible day with Sampa exploring the local waterfalls and the Nine Arch Bridge! He knew the perfect timing to beat the crowds, the best secret viewpoints for photos, and navigated the hiking trails with total safety and ease. Sampa is so friendly

Sanju as a guide was super nice. Especially on the hike through tea plantations, rice fields, etc., he explained a lot of interesting things. If one wishes, one can certainly extend the walking distance along the tracks, but in the heat, we were glad for the TukTuk transport between the stations. Sure, €50 per person is not cheap, but for those who want to learn more about the surroundings and prefer to be on a privately guided tour, this is the right place!

Dinuka and Sanju picked us up on time at the hotel and we had a good tuk tuk ride to the trail head for Ella Rock. Dinuka came prepared with leach socks and deterrent spray and he did a great job getting us up safely to 2 view points. On the way he pointed out birds, special plants, lizards and spiders and made this tour very educational. We had a delicious lunch in Ella . Unfortunately, the weather got so bad that we could not visit Little Adams Peak and the bridge.

Really nice experience! Dino knows all the places very well and took us to to the best spots. He is very kind and funny! Food also was very good and we finish on time!

Dino was the GOAT of guides. The hike in Ella with all the spots he shows is unique. Also, he’s quite savvy in terms of local plants and animals. He’s extremely respectful and his English is amazing. If we ever come back to Sri Lanka we would definitely contact him again. What a guide.

We had an amazing experience on this tour with Sanju! The walk and hikes were already so beautiful, and Sanju had so much information to share about the culture, history, flora and fauna of the Ella. Lunch was delicious, and the sights were breathtaking. It was so worth it!

What a great day! We were picked up and made our way to Ella’s Rock. Sampa knows a lot about flowers and has taught us a lot about nature.

Our tour guide was Sanju. He was so much fun! My wife and I had an amazing day with him. Sanju was very knowledgeable about the plants and animals. Great hikes! It was challenging and steep. So prepare for that. Thankfully Ella Rock was the first thing we did so we beat the afternoon heat. 10/10 experience!!
