Nossa excursão ao Diamond Circle de Akureyri visita muitas maravilhas naturais incríveis da Islândia do Norte em um único dia - esta região diversificada contém muitas jóias escondidas, bem como delícias mais conhecidas. Visitamos as deslumbrantes cachoeiras da região. Primeiro é o elegante Godafoss ou a cachoeira dos deuses. Dettifoss, por outro lado, é pura energia bruta, a cachoeira mais poderosa da Europa. Levamos você para a área geotérmica do Lago Mývatn e Námaskaro, onde a influência da atividade vulcânica sobre a paisagem da região. Bacias de lama fervendo, fontes quentes, crateras e o cheiro de enxofre abundam. Também fazemos uma parada no Asbyrgi Canyon, onde uma pequena floresta e lago sentam-se no coração de um canhão em forma de sapato de cavalo notável. Peixes puros flutuam em todas as direções. De Akureyri, dirigiremos por cerca de 30 minutos até nossa primeira parada, que será na bela cachoeira chamada Godafoss. Veja as cataratas de vários pontos de vista e caminhe pela trilha para tirar fotos perfeitas.
Dirija pela área do Lago Myvatn, que possui uma paisagem única do melhor ponto de observação. Faça uma breve parada para fotos com vista para o Lago Mývatn. Aprecie toda a majestade desta paisagem única. Dezenas de crateras pontilham a paisagem, resultados de antigas erupções vulcânicas.

Este vasto desfiladeiro em forma de ferradura é cercado em 3 lados por enormes penhascos verticais de até 330 pés de altura. Estas falésias são o lar de uma infinidade de pássaros. Nos trechos mais profundos do cânion, fica um lago idílico chamado Botnstjorn.
Um passeio panorâmico de Ásbyrgi a Húsavík. Esta encantadora vila de pescadores é a capital da observação de baleias na Islândia. Não teremos tempo para esse dia, mas teremos tempo para admirar a agitação do porto central e também uma das mais belas igrejas da Islândia. A parada em Húsavík dura cerca de 20 minutos. Húsavík atraiu atenção internacional após participar do filme de Will Ferrell "Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga", na Netflix. A viagem de volta a Akureyri leva 1 hora, onde você será deixado no porto.

This was an amazing trip and a great way to end my time in Iceland. Our guide, Vjeran, was wonderful and went above and beyond to make the day a great one, including taking pictures for us and making some extra stops for us. Highly recommend.
This was not the original tour we booked but a great substitute. The 3 stops around the lake were all so different and very interesting. Coming from Florida we have nothing like this! Excellent guide who was very knowledgeable.

Kjartan is an excellent guide, giving us lots of history and culture as we visited all the sights. Eugen drove skillfully, and the whole experience was outstanding.
Incredible experience, comfortable and safe coach. Kjartan and Eugen did a fabulous job and got us to our stops on time with an informative, entertaining commentary on the route and scenery. We really appreciated being upgraded to the more inclusive tour after our original booking was unexpectedly cancelled.
Kjartan was a great guide! He pointed out so many great things during the bus rides. The tour was also very efficient and it was the best way to see so many things in a short period of time! I would happily take a tour like this again! We also got to see Puffins which was a great treat!

Great tour - some d*mb-d*mbs in the group came back to the bus 20 minutes late so we couldn't stop in Husavik. Which we were really excited for! They were sitting near the back and many of us gave them some advice for screwing us over. Reminded them not to be late at next stop. They came back and stole an elderly couples seats and took the couples belongs and just set them in the aisle. The guys name was Pablo and back on the cruise ship I saw him arguing with a bartender over not enough alcohol in his drink. Who does that on a cruise? I m*ron named Pablo, that's who. Other than that, the tour was awesome, saw Puffins, too.
This wasvan 8 hour day with the weather not cooperating the second and third water fall couldn't be seen because of the low hanging clouds and no substitution was made for the things we couldn't see. Interesting land scape and mountains were in one area fantastic. Because of the weather and locations the crowds were at a minimum. Lunch was chicken soup or hamburgers which was acceptable.
This is a long day but it is worth it. There’s so much to see and do. I would take Lake Myvatyn out of the description because we didn’t stop there. We had enough time at Godafoss but I could have used a little more time at Dettifoss and Hverir geothermal areas. Kgartan was an excellent and very informative guide. I’m so glad we stopped to see the puffins. We saw more puffins there than I did in Seydisfjordur. I would take Husavik out of the description because we stopped for a few minutes but did not get off the bus. I wanted to see the bar from the Eurovision movie. Remember to take a water bottle and snack. You get a sandwich and bottle of water after Dettifoss but you need more water and some fruit or snacks.
