Drive to The House of Virgin Mary está localizado nas Montanhas Aladag, a 8 km de Éfeso. No terceiro Concílio Ecumênico em 431 d.C. em Éfeso, afirmou-se que Maria veio a Éfeso com São João em 37 d.C. e viveu lá até sua morte em 48 d.C. Após a descoberta da casa, o arcebispo de Izmir declarou lá como um lugar de peregrinação em 1892. Em 26 de julho de 1967, o Papa Paulo VI visitou este lugar e lá rezou
Vamos começar a visitar um dos principais destaques na Turquia, Éfeso, uma das 12 cidades da Liga Jónica (um antigo distrito grego na costa ocidental da Ásia Menor) está localizado perto de Izmir. Como uma cidade portuária, foi um importante ponto de partida para as rotas comerciais na Ásia Menor. Caminhe pela história ao longo de ruas de mármore ladeadas por maravilhosos edifícios públicos, entre eles os Banhos de Scholastica, a Biblioteca de Celso; foi construído no início do século II dC por Gaius Julius Aquila para ser um memorial para seu pai Gaius Julius Celsus Polemanus, o procônsul da província da Ásia. O Templo de Adriano e o Grande Teatro são dois dos edifícios mais impressionantes de Éfeso. Our visit to Turkey from the cruise ship was great, very interesting and informative. We got a lot of different experiences with ancient and modern Turkey. We visited local farms, old ruins, interesting shops. Tansu was very helpful, knowledgeable and super friendly. The driver helped us with water bottles for the trip. Thank you guys very much! We definitely enjoyed our Turkish part of the cruise.

Enjoyed the trip to Ephesus on our recent cruise with Inan Akpinar as our tour guide. Very knowledgeable about the area and made the trip so much more meaningful than if we had just attempted to have done this on our own. Would highly recommend.

Turkey is a breathtaking country with a rich culture and history that was only made so much better by Yavuz and Serjan. We loved every day we were here. The foods, the sights, the ruins and the history were explained and enhanced with expert guidance and professionalism and could not have had a better time.

We had a wonderful tour with Mr. Tan as our tour guide. Not only was he very knowledgable he also had a great sense of humour and it was easy to build a rapport with him. Luckily we were only 3 of us and we had a memorable trip to Ephesus which we will cherish!

Been five days in Turkey and so far I can only be impressed by the hospitality of the people in the country. Iskendar (Alex), the gentleman who guided us on this tour is no exception. He speaks English so fluently, that we can talk so much about the sites we visited. I did the tour with my 61-year mom and 79-year grandma, who walked so slowly and easily got tired after a few steps. And, Iskendar was so patient with them. Maybe it sounds too much but when I apologised for my grandma, he said, "We all have grandma. Don't ever apologise for that." That is the ultimate level of attitude that I have no words to express. Thanks Iskendar. My mom and especially grandma really enjoyed the trip. She wished you had more happy guests to guide. Cheers,

The visit to the Virgin Mary’s house was powerful. The visit to Ephesus was a very good overview with a very knowledgeable guide. It’s encouraged me to visit again and dig deeper. The visit to the Artemis Temple and St. John’s Basilica was good but I’d have liked to have seen them closer. Altogether a very good trip.

Nafia is the best tourguide ever, very thorough with the history andculture. She is also kind,friendly and funny. Anyone who goes to Izmir should ask for her. The driver is also very nice and we were very happy with the experience. Worth the money. Not to forget the lunch was homely.
