Itinerário
Partimos às 9h, faremos um passeio pelo rio Madre de Deus de barco, cerca de uma hora até chegarmos Nosso Lodge “AMAZON MOUNT LODGE” uma vez Faremos uma caminhada de cerca de 5 min. Até as instalações, lá começaremos a aventura: Faremos uma pequena caminhada no Canopy Walk-Way, cerca de 30 metros de altura, o que nos permitirá apreciar a natureza do mais alto possível, também teremos uma visão vista panorâmica do rio Madre de Dios. Das plataformas vamos observar diferentes espécies de aves, como tucanos, araras, tangaras, orioles, será uma experiência maravilhoso Então nos preparamos para uma atividade de desafios sobre árvores com mais de 30 metros de altura, para esta atividade Teremos um guia do instrutor que nos dará uma palestra sobre como use o cinto de segurança da tirolesa, sentindo a adrenalina ao deslizar pelas árvores. À tarde, o desafio é atravessar o rio Madre de Dios em Caiaque, para o qual teremos coletes salva-vidas. Finalmente visitaremos a "ilha dos macacos", localizada em frente para a nossa loja do outro lado do rio Madre de Dios, onde vamos encontrar espécies diferentes como a família dos macacos Capuchinhos, monges que vivem na ilha. Após o passeio à tarde, retornaremos ao Cidade de Puerto Maldonado, às 17 ou 17:30 Aproximadamente chegaremos à cidade. INCLUI: guia interpretativo, almoço, transporte (Airport- Lodge), botas.

They welcomed us and treated us very well. The guide was very good and we had the opportunity to also share with the boat driver that he was very good person but I think that for the price of the activity could be substituted go to monkey island for going to the collpa of the parrots.
Well worth the price. Beautiful and informative walks in the Amazon forest. The lunch included was tasty and there was a vegetarian option. Guide was friendly. Saw caimans and monkeys. Beautiful boat ride up the river.
This was by dar the worst experience we had in Peru, if not ever. The activities are made up of 2 min kayak, 1 single hangbridge as canapy tour and 2 short ziplines. Monkey Island only inhabits 12 monkeys, so you might be lucky to spot one. So not even close to the expected. But the worst of all was the lack of communication. No one at the lodge knew what the experience should include. We were send from boat to boat and guide to guide. No one wanted to "deal" with the single day tourists. The people that booked a multi-day tour were treated much differently. But we had to get mad before we got a chance to do anything. By 12:00 we had only sat on different boats, no activities jet. When we got back to the office and told them our complaints they ignored us again. They only said that we had done everything so that we couldn't get a refund. But 2min of doing a activity is not the same as actually doing anything. They did not even apologize for the way they treated us. I would not recommend this company. Stay far away and find another place to spend your money!
We are very sorry you felt the activities short but actually each tour normally takes between 01 or 02 hours; about the wildlife spoting, the jungle is unpredictable and the animals are free, it is not a zoo. We are sorry you couldnt enjoy our tour.
It wasn't really full day adventure. Activities took maybe 2-4h in total. Most of the time we were sitting and waiting for those activities. Organization was chaotic and timeline was changed for almost every activity. Also, be careful with pick up option. You may not get picked up from your hotel.
Fantastic value for the money for a trip to experience the Amazon rain forest and the Madre De Dios river system. Great food at at a really nice resort. We would have stayed here if we knew about it beforehand. Teens loved it too!
