Great walking tour of the old and new parts of Alecante. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our many questions as well as volunteer information that was interesting to us.

Maria had great knowledge of the historical sites around Alicante, with the pacing of the walking tour just perfect not being too slow nor too fast. Our party of 8 thoroughly enjoyed her company and would recommend her to others who want to experience a taste of the historic sites that Alicante has to offer.

This tour was a great way to learn the history of Alicante. We took the tour on our first afternoon in town. It was a great way to get oriented to the town and helped us easily plan what we wanted to do during the rest of our vacation here. Our guide was friendly, engaging and gave us just the "right" amount of information.
The overall experience was amazing! Paola’s wealth of knowledge of Alicante’s history was beyond! I highly recommend this tour in Alicante. It’s a lot of walking but she made it so easy and enjoyable and most importantly, felt like walking with family!
Javier arrived right on time at the designated spot. We found him to be delightful! He is so knowledgeable and had so much information and stories to tell us. He adjusted the tour for my husband's abilities. I highly recommend this tour and Javier!
The night before the tour we were informed there would be no tour. No suggestions for a back up, no how-do-you-do, just your tour is cancelled. I made the plans months ago. We needed to settle for less of Alicante than we hoped. A rare one star for Viator, I would have rated it no stars but there was no option for that.

Our tour guide was Maria, unfortunately it rained the day of our tour but Maria still made the tour very interesting and fun showing us how the history of Alicante was formed telling us about the walls originally built around the city and the different religions within Alicante. We tried Alicante famous wine, taking a walk to mushroom street and round each square to the cathedral and basilica then to Santa Cruz, unfortunately we couldn't get the castle due to the weather but was still a great tour overall
Long walk up to the castle but well worth it!! Amazing views an tremendous history lesson. And ice cream as a treat at the end!!!!
