Our Guide Jose Amaru, was exceptional! He tailored the tour to our intrests and took us to many places that are off the beaten path! Could not have had a better guide! Would highly recommend and hire again next time! Truly the best!!
After a last minute cancellation by a popular Viator tour(!?) we quickly looked and found this tour- so glad we did! Jose took us on a 3 hour exploration of historic Buenos Aires giving us both the history of BA and Argentina but finding also. little treasures of history and culture and art/architecture. Truly an Insiders Tour. We saw one of 2 Anne Frank statues in the world, the Cathedral from where Pope Frances ascended to Papacy, huge frescoes from Argentinian masters inside a galleria, fantastic banks and government buildings echoing their European heritage and new World influences. So much. Jose was a patient informed and passionate guide- truly one of the best we’ve had in 5 years of Viator tours. Buenos Aires is a big vibrant city but our first exposure was so intimate that we feel more at home here than had we done a driving tour. Jose, our guide, is a musician and clearly has a passion for arts and architecture which we love. And so relaxed but kept us moving so we could see all he needed to share.
We really enjoyed our three-hour walk through downtown Buenos Aires with Veronica Ducrey. She knows the city incredibly well — not just the history and architecture, but also the culture and everyday details that bring it all to life. The tour felt relaxed and personal, with plenty of interesting stories and great conversation along the way. Veronica was easy to talk to, very engaging, and clearly passionate about what she does. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and a great way to spend a few hours getting to know the city. Highly recommended.
Some history, some shopping, architecture, cathedrals - you name it we saw it. Aida was spectacular and although it was 40 degrees Celsius she looked after us all the way.
Great tour! English was impeccable and there was no rush. Lovely trip, would recommend to any English youngsters looking for a chilled guide
The tour was very interesting & Julia (guide) was so nice & showed us many exciting insights into Buenos Aires & in San Telmo in the market halls we 3 strengthened ourselves for the further tour! . We really enjoyed this tour & highly recommend this one.
Great walking tour of some of the highlights of BsAs. Our guide Amaru was knowledgable and passionate about his city. We did the tour in Spanish. 4hrs on foot
We had an amazing experience with Aida as our tour guide in Buenos Aires! She was absolutely fantastic professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. Aida created a custom tour for us, which included a visit to Recoleta. My dad had recently had knee surgery and couldn’t walk long distances, and Aida went out of her way to accommodate him by arranging for him to take a tax to the cemetery so he could still join us. Highly recommend Aida if you’re looking for a thoughtful, flexible, and expert guide in Buenos Aires!
Rosana was everything you would like in a guide. We learned so much about Buenos Aires and Argentina. She spoke excellent English and went at our pace. I had a major problem with a tooth and she recommended ane excellent oral surgeon. I just can't say enough good about her.
Our tour with Rosana was excellent. She is a delight to spend time with. She is very knowledgeable about the history, culture and politics of Argentina and has a relaxed and friendly demeanour. It was a very pleasant and informative way to spend our first morning in Buenos Aires. I highly recommend spending time with Rosana!
