Descrição
Durante este passeio, você vai experimentar algumas das principais atividades de Limon em um dia. Você visitará uma floresta tropical local de um ponto de vista único: os canais de Tortuguero! Nesta excursão você testemunhará uma grande diversidade de vida selvagem de nosso barco (cães, aves aquáticas, iguanas, basílicos e talvez sloths). Lembre-se, essa é a natureza! Às vezes, observar animais pode depender de condições climáticas e horas de maré. Em seguida, visitaremos uma fazenda orgânica com uma pequena plantação de banana; veremos vários tipos de árvores de frutas exóticas, imersas na natureza tropical, e aprenderemos sobre a cultura do Caribe, fazendo um passeio turístico pela cidade de Limon. No final do passeio, há uma visita opcional à praia de Playa Bonita, onde você pode relaxar e desfrutar da brisa do mar e da maravilhosa luxúria da natureza costarricense, enquanto abraça a cultura local e vive o estilo de vida pura alimentado pela música Calypso.

Por volta das 9h30, você seguirá para os Canais Tortuguero, onde poderá avistar dezenas de aves aquáticas e, esperançosamente, macacos e outros mamíferos.
Você pode terminar o dia em Playa Bonita, onde podemos desfrutar de algumas das águas quentes do Caribe, seguidas de um passeio pela cidade de Limon.

Ao desembarcar, por favor, procure o nosso representante GioTours, que estará esperando por você na porta do cais amarelo seguindo as tiras brancas no chão, localizado após o mercado de souvenirs. Nosso representante vai usar calças khaki e uma camisa branca com botão para baixo com o logotipo GioTours e vai segurar uma placa que diz "GioTours" com seu nome. Pedimos que todos os hóspedes planejem estar no local de reunião designado pelo menos 10 minutos antes da hora de partida prevista acima.

Book this excursion! Don't even think about booking one through the cruise line. This is a much better excursion and more reasonably priced. Juan is an excellent tour guide and David is an excellent driver. We saw it all - birds, a caiman, a crocodile, a sloth, and howler monkeys! Juan is very knowledgeable about the plants and animals of Costa Rica. He will not make something up if he doesn't know the answer. He and David travel from San Jose, CR to do this tour. They were waiting for us at the designated time with a sign. I booked this excursion because of the reviews and the six of us travelling together were very satisfied.
We just experienced THE BEST shore excursion we have ever been on! Juan Miguel with Gio Tours Costa Rica was our private driver for the day. He more than exceeded our expectations ! Juan was very knowledgeable about his home country and took us to beautiful sights and adventures throughout the day. He was a very easy going and thoughtful young man who took pictures of us throughout our adventures so that we didn’t have to. This allowed us to enjoy the tour even more!! Juan, our guide, did an excellent job sharing info and taking us to great sites in Limón, Costa Rica. We took a great safari boat ride and saw a sloth, iguanas, howling monkeys and several bird species. The plantation visit was awesome! We learned about local fruits, coffee and sugar cane.
Our guide Juan made for the most wonderful tour in Limon today during our cruise stop! The highlight of getting up close to the baby sloth on the boat tour was outstanding! Grateful for this experience in your country.

Juan with Gio Tours was a great travel guide. Antonio was the driver and also took great photographs during the canal ride. We saw at least two sloths, a baby crocodile, many birds, and several monkeys.

We loved this excursion. Juan met us at the port and made us feel comfortable. He was clear in his explanations, was very knowledgeable and always asked if we had questions before continuing. We are always curious about the guides and their backgrounds. And if course, we asked and he was nice enough to share. Great tour and Juan was fun.

It was just ok. I’ve been on many Viator tours and this wasn’t one to recommend. The canal boat ride wasn’t very impressive
