Embora esta igreja barroca do século XVII seja bonita o suficiente, é o que está dentro dela que a torna verdadeiramente notável. Ocupando um lugar de destaque acima do altar-mor, o sarcófago de São Simeão é uma obra-prima da ourivesaria medieval.
Zadar é um orgulhoso proprietário de uma mistura única de arquitetura e música, o mundialmente famoso Órgão do Mar, localizado ao lado de outra instalação moderna, a Saudação ao Sol. Os sons que o Órgão do Mar produz são resultado da liberação da energia do mar, ou melhor, das ondas e das marés.
Juntamente com a energia das ondas que faz o som do Órgão do Mar, ele produz um show de luzes do pôr do sol ao nascer do sol que simula o sistema solar. Ele também coleta energia suficiente para alimentar todo o sistema de iluminação da frente do porto.

Since no other city tour guests had signed up, my friend and I were lucky to experience a private tour with you. Your warm, open, yet pleasantly unobtrusive manner and your humor felt as if I were out with a friend. You know a lot about the history of Zadar and presented it in a way that was very informative and understandable, even for my somewhat rusty English skills, without overwhelming me. We also had the opportunity to express our wishes and interests regarding the city tour. Anytime again! Beautiful excursion destination.
What a lovely 2 hours with Andrija! He walked us around the city and gave us the historical facts plus added in personal stories from his family-oh what a lovely time! We had cheese and brandy and he told us of the restaurant we are going to for our 30th anniversary!! The ice cream recommendation was great also! We really enjoyed this tour in Zadar!Our guide Tonka was lively, curious, and knew how to explain history in a way that kept us interested. It covered not only communism and World War II, but also the Italian, Austro-Hungarian, Turkish, German and French occupations, the Yugoslav Kingdom, Communist Yugoslavia and Tito. We walked through important places in the city, asked all our questions, and finished with a taste of a national drink. A great mix of history, stories and atmosphere!

Tonka had a great sense of humor and really bought the long history of the city to life. She told us just enough about the history of Zadar for us to understand without overloading us and signposted us to where to find out more.
