If I could give this 10 stars I would. Everything about this excursion was perfection. It started with great communication from Jan prior to our departure regarding the pick up from our hotel. Immediately when we got in the van, we were greeted with an amazing small group who are all just as excited. Jan was born and raised in Czechia and his knowledge was immediately recognized. He had so much insight the entire trip that really elevated this experience as a travel advisor. I’m always looking for excursions and experiences that will be memorable and present the traveler with the little piece of local and authentic time in the city there visiting. This was all of that and more Jan has put great time and effort into creating an authentic experience and it shows in every aspect of this tour during the hike shared so much insight of the area and the land and the history behind it all we even got to pick wild blueberries, which was definitely a highlight. The second stop at the castle was everything I could’ve imagined it would be from stunning scenery to amazing food to more thoughtful insight, and history by Jan. The last step at the Small local brewery was a fitting end to a wonderful day. Once again, Jan did not disappoint with his knowledge of beer the brewing process the flavor profiles, and the history behind this little brewery and the town that it’s in. We only had three short days in Prague and this excursion was the highlight of our time there. thank you, Jan for a memorable day that we will talk about for years to come.

This tour was a great mix of things and just a must do! Jan was super friendly, accomodating and just a great fun guy that ensured that we had a great tour! Never felt rushed. The Bohemian Paradise is a must do for anyone coming to Prague area. The tour included awesome food at a castle and then went to a brewery and couldn't even finish all the beer they let us sample! The entire day was a great experience. We ran into some rain and Jan had us covered with some rain coats. He was a great guide! And even gave us a gift at the end of the trip to remember the day!

An excellent tour consisting of two very scenic hikes, lunch in a castle, and a private tasting at a microbrewery. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, making the 3 hour roundtrip car ride go by fast. I would definitely recommend.

Petr was a great driver and guide. He picked us up exactly on time from where we were staying in Prague and had some interesting things to tell us on the way to Bohemian Paradise. While we were there, he engaged in conversation, while allowing us to catch our breath. The sandstone rock formations were breathtaking. I was very pleased with the lunch we had as well. I'm glad he talked me into trying Svíčková. The pivovar (brewery) tour was intimate and lovely, although a bit far from where we ate lunch. Looking at the route on Google maps, it seemed like we took a detour through Turnov for some reason. Regardless, we had the opportunity to try some good beer at various stages of brewing: toasted malted barley, warm malty water (pre-wort), traditional lager, and even some wheat beer halfway through the brewing process! My travel tips: this truly is an all-day affair. Bring comfortable shoes (hiking boots if you have them) and be prepared to block your calendar for the entire day, from about 8:00 to at least 17:00. Also, the hike may be easy for experienced hikers, but there are LOTS of stairs and steep elevation changes. It is absolutely not a leisurely walk through the woods. Be prepared to sweat.

Petr was a great guide, stopping to explain the sandstone rocks and their history along our hike. While the hike was short length-wise, it was the steepest and most advanced trail, so I would not consider it "easy" as the TripAdvisor title says. The view is worth it, though. Lunch at the castle was pleasant and tasty. The brewer was very knowledgeable and friendly (and the beer very good!), although the drive home was a bit long. Coordination by Jan for door to door pickup was great, it was nice to not have to worry about getting back to our apartment after a long day.

Our guide Jan was very knowledgable, friendly & helpful. The hike was easy going taken at our own pace, we had the trail virtually to ourselves. The views were spectacular & Jan told us about the history of Bohemian Paradise. I would definitely recommend a visit here it’s beautiful & impressive. After the hike Jan took us to a castle which has been converted into an hotel where we had lunch. We were all surprisingly hungry after our hike, the food & beer were delicious. Jan showed us round the museum part of the castle then it was off to a local brewery for tasting & a tour. Again this didn’t disappoint & we all had a fantastic time & came away with our very own special can of lager. From collecting me at my hotel to dropping me off I felt like a was with friends, the whole experience was unforgettable & memories I’ll treasure.

The guide Jan was fatastic so accommodating, knowledgeable and fun everything went well with a small group and what the booking promised we got to experience though was the brewery closed but we got to go to a Czech market and try beer and experience music and local crafts. The food we could choose from was also very good

What a great day! It was wonderful and so interesting to get out of the city and spend time in the countryside. The hike was beautiful and fun, and lunch at the castle was amazing. I was so impressed that Jan included a gluten free option on the menu which few Prague restaurants do. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the brewery tour. A day well spent. Jan was a wonderful host and guide, easy to be around and full of great stories and information. He was also very communicative about details and pickup so we never wondered about the tour. Highly recommend.

Jan was a great guide and gave us history and local flavor throughout the day. If you have the time, I would recommend venturing out of Prague for the day. The food and beer were also excellent!

Great visit into the countryside of Czechia! Loved getting a glimpse of life outside of the big city of Prague. Amazing guide, and a perfect mix of activities. Highly recommend!
