O hangar do Aeroclube, localizado na pitoresca margem do Lago de Como, é um marco histórico da aviação italiana. Foi construído em 1930, o Aero Club Como é a base de hidroaviões mais antiga do mundo ainda em atividade. As instalações preservaram grande parte do seu projeto original e continuam a ser utilizadas como base para armazenamento, manutenção e treinamento de voo de hidroaviões.

A tour with the Ape Calessino is an experience to treat yourself to without delay. Excellent service and very kind staff. You will feel pampered from the very first moment and will experience the magic of the "dolce vita," admiring one of the most VIP locations in Italy.
Super fun experience!! Guide and driver Giovanni very friendly, answered all our questions and explained the monuments we saw. I felt living the dolce vita italiana, a delight of a walk!!
Due to repairs the tour operator had to cancel the golf cart trip but we did take the boat tour, and were quite disappointed. The audio content is shallow & lacks intelligent information, primarily focusing on celebrity name dropping. We don’t care where John Legend got married or where Clooney’s villa is, yet as the boat turned around in front of his villa, the audio stated this site is the highlight of the tour. SMH, you’ve got to be kidding! We’d have preferred to learn more about the architecture, what are the logistics of building these grand homes on the hillsides through history, how wide/deep is the lake, what water sources feed into it, etc. Basically the audio seems AI generated, repetitive in their descriptions & simply boring. Total waste of an hour and money.

Viator's tour description says there are two parts of the tour - a 1-hour golf cart trolley ride to see the city of Como followed by a 1-hour boat ride on Lake Como. Viator also instructed us where to wait for the golf cart ride. While we were waiting at the assigned location, we got a call from the tour operator saying he was looking for us and told us the waiting location assigned by Viator was wrong, that we should be waiting at the pier for the 1-hour boat ride because there was never any golf cart city tour in the contract. So while we had paid Viator ahead of time for a two-part (land tour and boat ride) tour, in actuality the local tour operator gave us only the 1-hour boat ride part and explained that Viator made a mistake in advertising this tour to include a land tour in addition to the boat ride tour. So we have been short-changed by Viator. We are very disappointed that a major tour company like Viator could make such an obvious mistake that resulted in misleading advertising. We expect a refund from Viator.

We understand the confusion, but in this case, we believe the misunderstanding was not due to an error on our part or on Viator's. That said, we’d be happy to offer you a complimentary golf car tour on your next visit to Como, as a gesture of goodwill. I recommend doing the activity during the week instead of on the weekend to avoid the row on the lakefront
