No need to reserve for a free visit As someone who is not religious, I found the monument very beautiful and peaceful, although the group guides speak too loudly and spoil the serenity that emanates from this place. A must-see at least once

This private tour of Chartres Cathedral has been on our bucket list since 2006 and wow! It was worth the wait! Victoria was our tour guide and her knowledge and enthusiasm and passion and love of Chartres was evident in everything she shared with us! The stained glass windows, the labyrinth, the church inside and outside, everything gave us an experience of this churches importance in history! We also learned how to "read" the stained glass windows from the bottom to the top! Fascinating and we were all engaged every moment of Victoria's Tour!!! And loved it! We would do it again and spend more hours with her!!! Take her tour and you will be changed forever! Loved it!
I have been to Chartres many times and each time we have come here has been wonderful. But, our fabulous guide, Victoria, was the best guide ever! We saw the cathedral and the history of this majestic site in a whole new way. We were moved to tears. What a great tour! We were staying in Paris for a few days and wanted to discover places nearby that were accessible by train and easy to visit in a day before returning to Paris. Chartres is a lovely town to explore, and the Cathedral is definitely worth seeing — a true treasure of history and culture. Victoria is such a passionate, professional, and knowledgeable guide. Discovering the Cathedral with her was a real pleasure. She shared many fascinating facts without ever being boring. We didn’t even notice how much we’d learned until the tour was over. Choosing the guided tour with Victoria was the best decision we made — we learned a lot and enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you!

Victoria was the Perfect person to see the cathedral with. She was so passionate and informative about the cathedral and let the tour evolve around our questions and interests. We didn't feel rushed at all and she showed us so much of the inside and outside of the cathedral. We loved how focused she was on giving us the best experience.
