Beautiful Bike Ride
First, the good:
The bikes were nice, worked well.
Scenery was beautiful. The first half of the trip was downhill.
Adrian picked us up on time from our hotel. We stopped at a cute little shop about halfway and had sugarcane juice, very delicious.
Also, Adrian had an e-bike that saved my life for the difficult part.
Some things you should know:
There are some very difficult uphill portions, one on a highway with traffic. I would only recommend this to athletic people.
Also, we did not visit Cajas national park on this ride. It was not part of the tour even though it was in the description.
At times, dogs chased us down on the bikes. Some were cute and some were mean.
Overall, four hours is a very long time to ride a bike. I would recommend making this tour shorter and ending before the uphills.
Thank you for everything!

Seeing the different layers of Ecuador from a bike
It was a great way to see the countryside! And the views were amazing! Adrian was friendly and informative about the area, and a great bike mechanic. We were not expecting mountain bikes with electronic assist, but it sure was appreciated since we were not yet acclimated to the altitude. Next time we hope to spend more time in Cajas National Park, but some roads there were blocked by mudslides so we went to a different valley.

Adrian made this super special and interesting
This was really excellent. I am from united states. Adrian was an excellent guide. Very Friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. His English is great. His true love for his country is apparent. He picked me up at my hotel promptly at 8am, brought me to a location and took me on a tour. He provide an excellent snack, a helmet and an adequate bike. I rode the Giant Talon hard tail. the trip we took was primarily downhill, but there were some uphill sections. I would NOT recommend this particular ride for someone new to biking. He has several different routes for people of varying skill levels. The road was rough but fun, and the uphill was manageable yet challenging. It was a perfect time. We stopped at several places to see a museum and meet a local who offered us some of their towns special sugar cane drink. It was a great afternoon. Adrian was even nice enough to drop me off at the market in el centro. If you like the outdoors and riding, its a great way to spend your day and definitely worth the money.

Best Ride of My life, Absolutely Incredible!
Even though we got off to a bit of a late start, we rode up to the Mirador west of Cuenca in their vehicle with the bikes, which only took about an hour. Starting at an elevation of around 14,600 ft, we descended on the main road for several miles before turning off to a side road, and eventually a gravel road. Riding through the cloud forest was a truly unforgettable experience. We ended the ride about 4 to 5 hours later at an elevation of 2,100 ft. Adrian and Jose were great, and even fixed a flat I had. Can't say enough good about the experience. One note though if you are considering doing this, I would only recommend it for somewhat experienced cyclists.

Great adventure on the downhill tour
I had a really nice time dropping over 10,000 feet into the coastal cloud forest with Adrian and his crew. I was the solo member of the tour and felt a little spoiled by the care provided to me. It was a great mix of adrenaline, nature, and culture in some off the main road areas. If you like downhill biking, or mountain biking, this would work for you, but if you are an intermediate casual biker, this would also work for you too. I think Adrian is very accomodating. He let me go ahead and rip it up a bit, but he was very willing to go slower if needed.
