Wine & Cheese é uma degustação para quem quer se aproximar do mundo da culinária regional e ao mesmo tempo visitar algumas das mais belas áreas monumentais da cidade velha. A degustação é realizada pelo nosso guia especialista em vinhos e inclui uma breve caminhada guiada de cerca de 30 a 45 minutos para admirar alguns dos locais monumentais mais interessantes da cidade (cerca de 1 km), até chegar a um renomado bar de vinhos em um ambiente sofisticado , onde você será aguardado para iniciar a degustação conjunta, servida com elegantes talheres e copos, de cinco tipos de queijos sicilianos de excelente qualidade, dos mais frescos aos mais velhos, biscoitos de amêndoa e seis importantes vinhos representativos das principais variedades locais , como Nero d'Avola e Catarratto, e um vinho de sobremesa. O vinho siciliano, de tradição secular, conquistou nas últimas décadas os mercados em todo o mundo e a tradição siciliana de laticínios é um dos mais antigos e apreciados da Itália.

We had this experience because a friend of ours is a great wine enthusiast and, given the little time in Sicily, we bought this experience. We were super happy because in addition to learning about fantastic wines produced by small wineries that cannot be found even for us Italians, Giorgio, our expert is also a tour guide and offered us a complete picture of Sicilian wine, cheeses and their history. He also gave us many tips on Sicily of places to see and where to eat. We had a great time and are very happy to have done so.
Very nice experience. The wine was fantastic and the local cheeses were a perfect match to the wines. But most importantly was our guide through our adventure Giorgio who was incredibly well informed about the wine and food and culture and history of Sicily. Our 3 hours with him flew by.

Great wines, great cheese, very knowledgeable guide! The selection came from across Sicily so I felt we got a good representative introduction. Will be on the lookout for my favourites in enotecas for the rest of the trip. And will lobby my local deli back home in Australia to stock some of those cheeses!

Our guide was amazing. He had deep knowledge of the history of Sicily, the food pairings and of course the wine. He was able to weave everything together into a compelling adventure. There were no Oenophiles in our group to probe the depths of our guides knowledge but I am confident he could address the nuances of his wine selection. The setting was also beautiful, tucked away in a local wine shop/eatery. Overall a fantastic experience.

Giorgio was superb. Despite some confusion about the meetup time, the actual experience was outstanding—one of the best we have done. He is extremely knowledgeable, passionate about the subject and personable. The venue was quite nice and the selection of wine and cheeses did not disappoint. I learned a lot.

All in all amazing experience. Giorgio has a wonderful way of explaining origin stories of Sicilian wines and tying them together with the culture. Excellent wines and a perfect experience for anyone! Highly recommended.
This was an excellent experience to complete our last night in Palermo. Our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable about the different wines and the Sicilian regions.
