WRONG beginning time indicated, WRONG address of the activity and NO COMMUNICATION. And no transfer. All the organisation of GetYorGuide and activity provider CST Travel was a real mess. First, nobody contacted us after registration as promised in the offer. After registration I had written the email that we would need a transfer from hotel till location. Nobody responded for more than 24 hours. After having contacted the GetYourGuide assistance, I found out that the transfer not possible and the time for free cancellation has ended. The phone of the activity provider - CST Travel - was not responding ever, just automessage in Italian every time I tried to call them. I started looking how to get there. And at about the noon I got the message from CST Travel that the beginning of the activity is not at 6 p.m., but at 4:30. But transfer's not possible unless I find myself. Upon arrival it turned out that this was not the correct address. And we have to go to another address. They take money for this excursion, but for nothing. Try to find the winery via Instagram if you want to go there. The presentation of the winery owner was very poor and quick, the info was just this what you can find on the wine label. No walking through the olive grove, no visit to the winery as the building or cellars. Just nice scenery, they have this there.

Get there on time Check transport to the location beforehand as taxis from Tropea are expensive. View to Stromboli and sunset is a spectacular bonus

Pros: Very nice and well maintained winery. Many different wines and foods were offered for tasting. Cons: There was no guided tour of the vineyards. Likewise, the exact location of the winery was not disclosed by the organizer. Without this, the winery cannot be found.

I totally recommend this tour! The winery is perched high up in the hills which have incredible views and sunset!. The owners explain their winery operation and each of the tasting wines we sampled (2 whites, 1 rose, 3 reds). There was plentiful appetizers to sample and eat, olives, assorted cold cuts, cheeses, local omelettes, and pasta. You can also purchase the wine if you wanted, but no pressure(we did as it was very good) It was a beautiful evening, and I would definitely 100% do this again!

The wine and food were great. The view was even better. Would 100% do this again. Everything was perfect. No pressure to buy anything at the end, but we did because the wine was great.

I hate to leave a bad review especially since the event did not take place. The tour operator asked if we could move our tasting from June 10, to June 11th and from 5:00pm to 6pm. We agreed. Then we had a problem and had to cut our trip short, we needed to cancel. It was well before the 24 hour window of the new date, but because they did not officially change the date with Viator it did not fall within that window. I messaged with the tour operator and she said that was fine to cancel and we would still get the refund. When I attempted to cancel on Viator it was recognized the original date so it said we would not get a refund. So I contacted Viator and explained what happened, they said they would handle it on their end since the tour operator moved the date. So I canceled. We got a message from the tour operator this morning that said they would not be issuing a refund. Ugh. I’ve learned several lessons from this that I’d like to share: NEVER allow a tour operator to charge the date either you. And never pay in advance! I don’t know if this a breakdown with Viator or the tour operator but we lost a significant amount of money.

Excellent experience. Good value for money. The setting was beautiful. Wine and food in abundance. Only negative, was that we were informed just an hour before that the time of the wine tasting had been brought forward an hour. Luckily we were able to do this at this time. More notice would have been appreciated. We also made our own way to the vineyard. Travel instructions were pretty poor, even our taxi driver couldn't find the place. It would have been helpful to have the name of the vineyard on the instructions. Apart from those negatives, I would highly recommend this experience

The wine was very good and had generous pours. You could go back for more as desired. The food was very authentic and included many items that we hadn't encountered in restaurants. There was plenty of food for everyone on the tour. The owner spoke limited English, but he used an app that translated his words and played them back in English.

We met some amazing people and drank good wine and ate delicious appetizers in a beautiful mountain setting
