The wines and cheeses were carefully selected. The pairings were very good from a taste point of view, and represented a nice variety. We learned a lot about each: history, flavors, production, etc. Our leader was very engaging and funny. She set a great tone, so we also enjoyed meeting the other attendees. Overall, a great experience.
It was fantastic from beginning to end. Very informative, delicious wine and cheese pairings, good anecdotes and insights, and lots of fun. Raphaela was amazing. Very knowledgeable, passionate and fun.
Max was engaging, was very knowledgeable, had a good sense of humor and made the class entertaining. He explained each cheese for the region, history and variabilities in France. In addition he described each the wines that were paired with the cheese and why they were chosen.
A must do! I did this tasting with my two adult daughters last December. I’m back with my husband and it was the first thing I booked. This made our trip to Paris so authentic … Dorian was wonderful, as was Max last year. Do yourself a favor and sign up! After or before the tasting , wander around charming Montmartre and Sacre Cœur. It makes for an incredible experience.

This is a small, intimate event in a nice area of Paris. Max the host is a super friendly guy and passionate about his wine/cheese presentation. He is very knowledgeable about wine, cheese in France. He makes everyone in the room feel welcomed and comfortable. He encouraged all to offer opinions, thoughts, ask questions. We thoroughly enjoyed this event. We highly recommend this to family, friends, others.
