Wonderful experience, Alex is a wealth of knowledge and a good teacher to boot. Great class, walked away with an understanding of not only Mezcal but also some clue of wine and other alcohol tasting techniques and appreciation. Highly recommend.

The tasting was so informative, in a cute little tasting room. I forgot the hosts name, but you could tell how passionate she is about mezcal.

Jimena was excellent guide on tequila and very knowledgeable! Highly recommend for a tequila tasting. She focuses on knowledge and experience without trying to sell you anything. Would do again for wine or mezcal!

I went to Mexico looking for a knowledge experience on tequila and mezcal and at ICAVI I got the best of the Tastings. The experience with Alex was wonderful, I taught myself to appreciate the different attributes of agave distillates, all the technical aspects, their history, classifications, Denominations. This is a must do while in San Miguel. I've been to wine tastings in many parts of the world and this one, with Alex at this beautiful store, ICAVI was by far the most informative while being really, really fun. Alex and his wife Jimina are incredible hosts and are eager to share their extensive knowledge. I am certain that others will love this experience as much as we did.
