Terminal de cruzeiros de Pointe-à-Pitre: Nosso motorista e guia estarão esperando por você a partir das 8:30 am perto do escritório de turismo e lojas (terminal 1) do terminal de cruzeiros com uma placa mencionando seu nome. Mais informações serão fornecidas em uma data posterior.
Seu guia irá levá-lo em um passeio panorâmico ao longo da costa. Você vai dirigir ao longo da magnífica praia onde a casa do Inspetor aka “shack” é estabelecida todos os anos durante o período de filmagem. Seu guia descreverá as cenas filmadas neste site e o ambiente de tiro difícil para os atores. Por favor, note: a casa do Inspetor só é visível de maio a agosto.
Seu guia irá então levá-lo ao jardim botânico na aldeia de Deshaies, também conhecida como Village Honoré. Durante esta visita gratuita de uma hora, você pode admirar uma magnífica coleção de lírios de água, um lago cheio de carpa koi, descobrir a aldeia de papagaios e lorikeets, e a majestosa palma Talipot, única em Guadalupe! Você também terá a chance de alimentar os animais presentes! Uma moradia privada no jardim foi o cenário para a cena em que o primeiro detetive da série, Richard Poole, foi encontrado morto (a moradia não está aberta a visitantes).
Você continuará sua excursão com uma visita a Port Honoré, onde todas as cenas ligadas à partida ou chegada de um barco, ou referindo-se a um porto, foram filmadas. Seu Guia então o levará para a delegacia de Honoré para uma parada fotográfica. Este é o único local de filmagem permanente dedicado exclusivamente a esta série de crimes. Seu Guia explicará a história do site e o papel que ele desempenha na série. Se está aberto no dia da sua visita, você é bem-vindo a tomar algum tempo para explorá-lo. As visitas são geralmente permitidas de dezembro a abril. Você pagará no local pelo bilhete (€ 15 ou $ 20).
Após esta parada no Catherine’s Bar, você terá duas opções: 1. Almoço no Catherine’s Bar: Para garantir que você tenha a experiência mais agradável possível, o menu será enviado para você por e-mail para que você possa pedir com antecedência e economizar tempo no dia. Após o almoço ou o seu tempo livre, o seu Guia irá levá-lo em um passeio panorâmico ao longo da costa, e o seu motorista vai parar para que você possa admirar as vistas deslumbrantes. Na próxima parada, você também desfrutará de uma vista deslumbrante de um complexo de hotel, um local de filmagem recorrente para a série e o lugar onde as equipes de cinema ficam.
Após esta parada, será hora de embarcar no seu minibus para a viagem de regresso ao terminal de cruzeiros em Pointe-à-Pitre. Dependendo da hora de partida do seu navio de cruzeiro, a viagem de regresso terá lugar por volta das 14h30 ou 15h00.
O passeio terminará no Catehrine’s Bar, onde o seu Guia lhe dará uma introdução a este local.

Olivier was an amazing guide and was very informative throughout the tour. He mentioned that he had been an extra on the set in previous episodes.
Fabulous experience! Olivier was a great guise, very knowledgeable and having been an extra on the show, full of interesting anecdotes and fun facts. We were there during the filming period which meant some things were limited, such as the police station being close, but Olivier still managed to ensure we saw as much as possible, including some extra bits!! The botanical gardens were a highlight for us. All in all a great day out for DIP fans!!!
It was incredibly fun. There is a world of difference between visiting the filming locations with someone who is knowledgeable and has been involved versus just going through the points without context. The mere fact that Oliver showed a photo of how each location we visited looks in the series was very helpful. We then recommended the tour on-site when we met other tourists interested in the filming locations of the series.
My parents and I had the pleasure of experiencing the DIP tour with Olivier. Olivier provided an unforgettable experience from start to finish. He provided so much insight into the show and was patient with all of our questions and comments. He even had pictures to show specific scenes that were filmed in the areas he was showing us. It’s clear that he loves what he does and we highly recommend this tour!
This was an amazing tour! We were well taken care of by our Guide Olivier. He took us to all the important places of the TV show and had lots of interesting behind-the-scenes information tidbits, since he was an extra on the show. The ride was comfortable, and the tour was small, with only two other couples in the vehicle. Pickup was prompt and we were returned on time to the cruise ship. Lunch at Catherine's bar was delicious and we got some free time afterwards to walk around the area. Very geeky experience, a must do for fans of Death In Paradise!

It was a perfect day with Oliver. All the great spots from Death in Paradise were just totally great, We were lucky that Cathrines Bar was open. So we could finally have a beer there. The highlight was the police station. We were allowed to see everything inside and were fortunately almost all alone in it. The botanical garden was a dream. And we had lunch on the beach. We can recommend the tour 100%.
Olivier was brilliant throughout and did all he could to ensure that the small tour group enjoyed themselves and got the best out of this must do adventure. We are fans of the show and we specifically sought out this tour after reading excellent reviews of what we saw as a highlight of our cruise. We had a brilliant time and can totally endorse and recommend this excursion. Thank you Olivier.
It was a great day. Olivier gave thought to the timing of each of our visits so we could get the most from each experience and miss the cruise crowds. There is some walking around the Botanical Gardens and also through the town to the police station and Catherine’s Bar We thoroughly enjoyed the walks. Olivier was a very enthusiastic guide on Death in Paradise. Whenever we stopped, he showed us scenes from the show to prompt our memories of where we were & what we were looking at. Olivier himself had been in the show as an extra and it was fun to hear his experience. The meal pre booked at Catherine’s Bar by Olivier was great. We sat comfortably and enjoyed our pre-booked meal when it was super busy and people were trying to sit at the tables. Olivier was more than happy to take photos at all the different stops which were fantastic photos. The Botanical Gardens were beautiful. The feeding of the fish was an experience - the fish go WILD as you throw the food in. The feeding of the parachets was an experience too. We didn’t feed the goats, we gave our feed to a family with multiple children. The actual gardens were so pretty. All the trees, flowers and water features like the waterfall, fountain & stream were so restful to listen to and so beautiful. This was a highly memorable day & we would definitely recommend to do it with Olivier and his company.
We were picked up from and returned to the cruise port. The tour was meticulously planned and organised. Olivier was very knowledgable, not only about Death in Paradise but also about Guadeloupe and its people. The locations we visited were well chosen and representative of the most famous spots of the show. A must for fans of the tv series, but also very enjoyable for any visitor to the island. Highly recommended. Thank you very much!
