Good team/bad logistics

The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and she was a trooper to walk, talk and smile in the mix of a horrible and humid day. The taxi driver they got last minute was great but he could not speak English, we were cramped in a sedan for the entire tour, lunch was missing and the people I share the Taxi from from Krakow to the concentration camp was different by 100 Euros, the driver was good but almost 4 hours in the back of a sedan was too much. The initial driver had an inconvenient event and I was waiting for 40 minute to get someone, I have to call twice and despite the fact I was 20 minutes early, nobody apologize. Highlight was the young guy picking me up from the hotel a 6:10m he walked with me to the Centralia Warsaw station and explained everything to me and ensured I was on the right train to Krakow, he was a sweetheart, he was also waiting for me when I arrived at 11:10 PM and drove me to my hotel. Also please ensure you check you Viator text messages as they start communication the afternoon before, but I did not get any email notification and I was answering late.

Resposta do operador

Dear Jose, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We sincerely appreciate your kind words about our Warsaw assistant, who was thrilled to help you at the station, and our tour guide, who did her best. However, we are deeply sorry that the logistics of your trip from Krakow did not live up to our standards. We owe you a sincere apology for the 40-minute delay and the lack of proactive communication and apologies at that moment. Our initial driver experienced a sudden, serious vehicle breakdown on his way to you. While we scrambled to find a last-minute replacement to ensure you didn't miss the tour, we clearly failed to manage the situation comfortably for you.We understand that the car was not comfortable enough but as it was emergency situation it was better to use it and not loose the visit in Auschwitz. As regards the lunch, we had the information from you too late. We asked to give us the information till 8:00pm the day before the tour and we received your reply at 5:00am on the day tour so there was no possibility to organize the lunch.

A must do tour

This was one of the best day trips we’ve ever taken and an experience we’ll never forget. Everything was well organized, transportation was comfortable, and the schedule was executed flawlessly. We began the day in Kraków, which is an absolutely beautiful city filled with history, stunning architecture, and vibrant culture. We had enough free time to walk through the Old Town, enjoy a delicious meal, and soak in the atmosphere. I only wish we had more time because Kraków is a destination that deserves a visit of its own. From there, we traveled to Auschwitz-Birkenau. It was an incredibly moving and sobering experience—one that everyone should witness at least once. Walking through the grounds and learning about the events that took place there is something that will stay with us forever. Our guide was outstanding: knowledgeable, respectful, and compassionate, presenting the history with the dignity it deserves. A huge thank you to our driver and tour guide for making such a long day comfortable, informative, and seamless. Their professionalism and organization were exceptional from start to finish. If you’re visiting Poland and only have time for one day trip, this is the one to book. It’s a long day, but every moment is worth it.

Must Do This Tour with This Company when in Warsaw

Great an Amazing experience from the start to finish. I even made a life time friend with Stanislaw B. - This is a Must do if you have a full day. You will learn lots about history and how the Jews and many other people got mistreated-imprisoned-tortured-killed-gassed killed. I highly recommend this tour and this company.

A long but unforgettable day that was worth every minute

This tour was exceptionally well organized and made it possible to visit two of Poland’s most important destinations in a single day without having to plan the complicated logistics myself. Every aspect of the journey—from the train tickets and transfers to the local transportation and timing—was handled seamlessly. The visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum was an incredibly moving and sobering experience. Walking through the preserved barracks, railway tracks, and memorials serves as a powerful reminder of one of history’s darkest chapters. Our guide presented the history with professionalism, respect, and compassion, helping visitors understand not only the historical facts but also the human stories behind them. It is an experience that every person should undertake at least once in their lifetime. Afterward, we continued to Kraków, one of Europe’s most beautiful and historically rich cities. Although our time there was limited, we were able to explore the magnificent Market Square, admire the city’s stunning medieval architecture, and experience the unique atmosphere that makes Kraków one of Poland’s most beloved destinations. Considering the distance from Warsaw, I was impressed by how smoothly the day unfolded. The schedule was ambitious but never felt chaotic, and the tour coordinators communicated clearly throughout the trip. This is a long day with a lot of travel, but if your time in Poland is limited and you want to experience both Auschwitz-Birkenau and Kraków, I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. It combines impeccable organization with an experience that is educational, deeply moving, and truly unforgettable.
