De Tirana/Durres/Golem: Saranda, Ksamil e Blue Eye

The day started off ok... The bus arrived 10 minutes late but communication was good. Unfortunately, one of the stops (Gjirokaster) was removed from the itinerary less than 24 hours before the trip, which was disappointing. The experience started to go down hill when 2 families were left behind at Blue Eye Mountain as they were not at the meeting point on time. There was no previous warning that this could happen; this affected the vibe for me. Annoyingly, the bus was late to pick us up at other stops, and all we could do was wait. No apologies were made for this. Saranda was beautiful but unfortunately, we were given the least time here (40 mins). Ksamil beach was disappointing - long queue to get photo with hand of Ksamil, group boat tours were not available, the whole beach area was occupied so one couldn't get a spot to stay without hiring a sunbed, and the water was not clean. Unfortunately, we were given the most time here (2hrs 30mins). The experience gave me mixed feelings...the areas visited were lovely and the guide was knowledge about the history but I didn't feel the hours spent on the travel were worth it. It would have been better if we had more time at Saranda and if our tour guide was kinder.

If you have just a day and no access to a car then this tour is for you. But be prepared for a very long day. We were picked up outside our hotel at 6 am and only reached back by 11.30 pm. The bus is very comfortable and Denis was a great guide who provided a lot of information on the way of each town and its history. There are two comfort stops on the way for 20 mins each to grab some food or go to the toilets. By the time we reached Ksamil it was noon. We had 2.5 hours at a beach after which we head to Sarande for a 45 mins walk on the promenade. Quite frankly this step could be skipped with more time provided at Ksamil or at Blue Eye. After Sarande we were driven to Blue Eye where 1 hour 50 mins were provided. We left Blue Eye just after 6 and with a brief stop for dinner / refreshments we reached Tirana back just before midnight. All in all a good way to see the other sights within Albania for the price.

I think there was a cominication problem during the whole trip. There was always many who didn't get the info and kept asking each other or asking the guide again. Also for the lunch time it was unclear if it was lunch time or we will be heading to the bus for me I felt most of the time left out with no info and I kept asking the others or the ones that were near them . the only time that the infos were clear its the ones said in the bus. Also I didn't like that there wasn't a real plan of the trip it was 60% random they asked us if we want to go on a boat tour and because they given us false info it was not a tour they just left us on an island and left for like an hour . It will be great if they could give us a clear plan from the beginning and not just random infos that end up not so accurate . And it will be fantastic if they could gather the people than give the info .

Overall experience was very good. Ample time to get loads done. The guides were such lovely ladies. They were attentive and patient. Only issue was that the pick up time was changed from 7am to 6am and pick up location was also changed 24hrs before.

I liked the tour, it was interesting. The tour guide himself is really professional, he always checks in and tries to answer all the questions. The pick-up/drop-off was always on time, and the locations are really beautiful and suitable. I would definitely recommend it. The Blue Eye trip was a bit simple, and maybe it would be better to do it in the evening (because it was really hot) + there were a lot of people, but we still enjoyed it. The time given was always the right amount, the minibus is also comfortable with air conditioning, which is good (our guide always made sure it was cold inside the vehicle), and he shared a list of stuff we can try. The chauffeur definitely has good driving experience, everything was comfortable. It's good for couples, families, and solo travelers as well. The price is also low for this tour, and it's definitely worth it. The overall experience is awesome, and I'd definitely recommend it!

Our tour guide, Noel, is friendly. Pick-up schedule and travel was a total comfort. The van is air- conditioned. Had a great time doing the tour. Worth the price.

I have tried to contact the company but failed . I need to get back the money I paid for the trip. I booked this trip , money paid and went through and taken from my account . My family waited for more than 2 hours to contact me , the receptionist kindly helped me to contact the tour provider but failed , no answer form the contact number provided . How can I get the refund £266.11?? Is there any contact number I can speak to the tour company. UK contact number? We are about to go back to UK.
