Plitvice é conhecido como um fenômeno natural porque continua mudando através da sedimentação de carbonato de cálcio e cria tipos especiais de algas e musgos, tufo ou travertino que foram depositados e ainda são depositados para formar as barragens naturais que separam os lagos. Como o processo está em andamento hoje, como sempre, novas barreiras de travertino, cortinas, estalactites, canais e cascatas são construídas à medida que as existentes continuam mudando. We had the most amazing day with Antonia. As a guide, she could not have been better - informative, knowledgeable, patient and fun. The scenery is absolutely spectacular, and we were lucky that the threatened rain never appeared. Be prepared for a long bus ride, but the lakes and waterfalls you will see make the drive definitely worthwhile

The tour was amazing! Our guide Antonia was really good, with useful advice, interesting stories about Croatia and very clear with the instructions. Regarding the tour itself, the couch was very comfortable, the stops were in nice places (free/clean WCs, good food) and the route inside the park was well thought. The park itself is amazingly beautiful!! Astonishing views and pure nature!

Ivan, aka Sir Richard, was truly a wonderful guide and human shepherd as he joyfully and patiently herded our group through the most beautiful park. With some absolutely breathtaking views, we were so grateful to have gotten a chance to see this national park on our trip to Croatia. The bus ride was so smooth and comfortable from Split. Marco, the driver, did a great job. We appreciated all the stops and pauses for bathrooms and breaks along the way, particularly on such a warm day. Very much worth the day and the money.
Highly recommended! We had the most fantastic time in Plitvice lakes with the talented guide Luka; He was both knowledgeable and funny, made sure everyone is on track and made an extraordinary effort to organise a smooth day trip despite a large group. Plitvice lakes are stunningly beautiful! still you need a guide like Luka to make sure you don’t miss any view and to know the right trail to take.
