De Praga : Castelo e Cavernas de Karlštejn ou Pilsner Brewery Tour

What a delightful day trip this was. After being picked up at my hotel, our small group drove to Karlstejn Castle where we had an informative tour and time to wander a bit. Our guide for the day (Martin) provided very interesting information during our drive and upon our arrival at the Castle. Afterwards he took us on a tour of the nearby Koneprusy Caves - his excellent explanations of what we were seeing in the caves was like getting a geology 101 lesson. So informative and interesting!! It was a thoroughly enjoyable and educational day and I would recommend this wholeheartedly! Well worth the time and money.

Matyas, our guide was superb!!. Very knowledgeable of the tour sites visited and his detailed tech explanation of the caves formation was very interesting and valuable. Pickup and drop off at our staying location was right on time. Definitely recommended.

Our entire experience on this day trip with Adam was terrific! The van was roomy and comfortable and bottled water and snacks were available if needed. He also willingly accommodated a special request to drop us off at a different hotel than where we were picked, which was a great convenience to us. All of the activities were as described, the included lunch was delicious with multiple options, and the knowledge of our guide exceeded expectations. His English was fluent and we had great conversations with others on the tour representing Sweden, Poland, Taiwan, and the U.S. So many great perspectives!!! There were adequate restroom breaks and photo opportunities and much to learn about Czech history outside of Prague. We would highly recommend this excursion!

Adam was very knowledgeable about the history of the area, castle and caves. He made the day fun and interactive. Our whole group challenged each other on who had the answers to what Adam had told us about that day. It really brought the group together with great conversation and laughter.

This was a great tour. Adam was our driver and cave guide along with insightful information between destinations. I only wish we could have heard more of his commentary but there was no microphone or amplifier so the rear passengers could only hear part of the information. He was very knowledgeable though and did a great job on the cave tour. The castle guide and also did a terrific job.

We had a great time on this tour with Adam! It was a perfect way to see the Karlštejn Castle and the Caves in a day- all a short trip outside the City! It was seamless from pick up at our hotel to drop off. Adam was so friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

We loved everything about this tour. Our Driver and tour guide, Adam was courteous and a wealth of information. He offered drinks and snacks on the van which was nice. There was a lot of uphill walking but it was well worth the effort once we reached our destination. The castle was rustic and authentic. The place we stopped for lunch was delicious. Food was authentic and experience was charming. We were blown away by the Konetrusy cave exploration. Did not know what to expect, guide was helpful with descriptions and explanations. Especially loved his recap outside at the 3D model of where we went during our tour. We would do this again and highly recommend this tour!

Great trip and the guide Adam was excellent

Our experience today was perfect! Thank you to our amazing guide, Josef! We ended up the only couple in the tour and Josef made this experience more fun and special. He’s smart, very knowledgeable and well mannered. Both castle and cave were worth visiting. Josef is a geologist which made the cave tour very interesting. The lunch near the castle was delicious as well. Highly recommended most specially our tour guide Josef.

Martin was great. Very nice change of pace vs old town Prague. Castle was awesome, caves were great too.
