Sua jornada começa na pitoresca Positano, uma cidade situada entre as colinas e o mar cristalino da Costa Amalfitana. Aqui pode admirar a vista da serra envolvente e passear pelas ruas estreitas do centro histórico pontuadas por lojas de moda e artesanato local. Prove a gastronomia local, famosa pelos seus pratos de peixe fresco e vegetais mediterrânicos. Depois, seu passeio o levará à refinada Sorrento, a pérola da península de Sorrento. Visite o centro histórico e descubra seus tesouros escondidos, como a Catedral de Sorrento, as igrejas barrocas e o sugestivo Claustro de San Francesco. Não se esqueça de provar o limoncello, um licor local feito com limões locais. Por fim, sua excursão o levará a descobrir Pompéia, a antiga cidade enterrada pelo Vesúvio em 79 DC. Meta di Sorrento é uma parada panorâmica perfeita para admirar a beleza da Península Sorrentina. A uma altura de 111 metros acima do nível do mar, oferece vistas espetaculares de Capri, Sorrento e da Costa Amalfitana, com vislumbres que vão do mar turquesa às colinas verdejantes circundantes. O mirante panorâmico permite capturar a essência da paisagem costeira num único olhar, incluindo praias douradas, falésias e colinas que descem suavemente em direção ao mar. Uma breve, mas imperdível, parada para fotos no caminho para Sorrento.
As ilhas Li Galli formam um arquipélago muito pequeno entre Capri e Positano, um dos lugares mais sugestivos não só da Campânia, mas de todo o Mediterrâneo. O arquipélago é formado por três ilhas, Gallo Lungo, La Rotonda e La Castelluccia, e juntas formam uma área marinha protegida extremamente sugestiva.
Positano é talvez um lugar único no mundo! É uma joia de arquitetura espontânea, implantada na rocha com vista para o mar. Aglomerados de casas coloridas, por vezes de aspecto cúbico, erguem-se em degraus muitas vezes muito íngremes, que descem até à praia, ligados por vielas e longas escadarias.
Diz a lenda que as míticas Sereias viviam no seu mar e tentavam Ulisses com um canto melodioso. E ainda hoje indo naquele mar - com reflexos azuis e verdes, em mil tonalidades diferentes conforme o jogo do sol - pode-se imaginar que das ondas emergem as Sereias - lindas e persuasivas. Mas talvez Sorrento seja uma sereia que cativa e enfeitiça com os aromas dos limoeiros e das laranjeiras, com as oliveiras de troncos escuros retorcidos e folhas prateadas que se movem lentamente, com um leve som, ao vento que vem do mar, com rochas nascidas da fúria distante de um vulcão.
Pompéia é uma cidade da Campânia, localizada no Golfo de Nápoles e nas encostas do vulcão Vesúvio. É uma cidade com origens muito antigas: nasceu como um assentamento osco, depois foi habitada pelos samnitas e depois, a partir do século I aC, conquistada pelos romanos. Cidade soterrada pela erupção do Vesúvio. Hoje é conhecida como a cidade onde se encontra um dos sítios arqueológicos mais importantes do mundo. A cidade romana foi de fato soterrada pela lava após a erupção do Vesúvio em 79 DC. A lava e as cinzas têm sido uma espécie de cobertura que permitiu à cidade manter-se ao longo dos séculos e ser protegida das intempéries; por isso mesmo a cidade se manteve intacta e pode ser visitada até hoje. Nota: O tempo restante é para o passeio de ida e volta e o tempo entre as atrações.

This was a lovely tour of Sorrento, Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. Paolo was our driver and was very professional and affable. He gave us time to allow us to explore the shops in Positano, but was also considerate that we needed to avoid spending too much time so that we did not miss out on seeing Pompeii. This was about an 8 hour excursion and we needed this time - Pompeii is an expansive site, it is important to give yourself time to see this adequately. An additional entrance fee to the archaeological site will need to be paid (about 20 Euros). We had the pleasure of been driven in a comfortable vehicle and a driver that is very knowledgeable of Naples. During the Pompeii tour we were given headphones to listen to an expert tour guide as we followed her through the labyrinth streets and corridors of this historical site. A splendid tour that has sparked our desire to revisit Naples, thanks to Paolo!
