WOW! Do not miss the chance to explore by Kayak! This crew was hilarious, experienced, and generous with information sharing. If you visit early into your trip, you may leave with a list of local recommendations for authentic Portuguese restaurants and more in Lagos! I was uncertain how comfortable I’d feel as I had never kayaked in the ocean. This crew made us feel safe, empowered, and like we were brought into the most beautiful spaces accessible! We were lucky to go out for an 11am tour when the water was fairly calm. It was family friendly and felt like an accessible exercise for most folks- not overly exerting, but perhaps that is because I got to be the so-called passenger princess in the front of the kayak :-) Lovely to jump off the boat at the end and cool off around the caves! You’ll see fish swimming below you in the clearest water. Pack plenty of water and extra sunscreen! Worth it to have a wet bag for your phone.
Had a great time kayaking around the caves, including Punta de Piedad, in Lagos! Our tour guide was super friendly and ensured everyone in our group of nine felt included. He gave a nice overview of the caves, shared funny stories, and made sure we had fun. The views are spectacular so make sure to bring a camera!
Had a great time kayaking in the caves. Diego and the others were kind, helpful and knowledgeable. There was more boat traffic than I expected (more than just kayaks) but it was manageable. The swim at the end was amazing! Overall would recommend.

Thanks to our guide Jamie for an awesome kayaking experience—we didn’t lose anyone in the tunnels and caves, even though it was our first time. We all had an incredible new experience; I really wanted more—maybe next time we should book the 4-hour tour)) The whole team was in a great mood, had a fun time with us, and was incredibly kind to everyone. One of the coolest experience in Lagos. After instructions we board our kayak and experience the flow between the rocks and passages. At each stop the guide talked about the location and shared the reccomended places in or near Lagos. After the kayak tour we could jump from the boat to the see… Thank to our guides - Jaime, Diogo, Luis and Philip for this experience!

My family and I went on the kayaking trip yesterday afternoon. What should have been a lovely afternoon out was ruined by our instructor. He was rude and obnoxious. Shouting and intimidating myself and my daughter. It was our first time kayaking-and we told him this-but he still felt it appropriate to berate us in front of the whole group. He the had the audacity to be the one standing with the tip jar at the end! A shame really,as we would have happily given to the other 3 members of the crew they were all lovely-but he wasn’t getting a penny. We weren’t the only ones to feel this way. The family beside us were also disgusted by his attitude. I think he perhaps he needs to work on his teaching and communication style,as what we experienced yesterday is not fit for a fun,holiday experience.

I can’t recommend kayaking in Lagos enough. Exploring hidden caves, and gliding through crystal-clear turquoise waters was an incredible experience. The rock formations were absolutely breathtaking. Our incredible tour guide Ricardo was super friendly, knowledgeable and made all of us feel safe and relaxed the entire time. He even recommended places to visit & try local foods. 10/10 highly recommend.

We only had one full day in Lagos and decided to book a kayak trip for our main activity. This ended up being the highlight of the whole vacation! The guys who ran the boat were all friendly and professional. Our paddling guide, Diogo, made sure we had a safe and fun excursion. Highly recommend!!

Tour was beautiful. Moved a bit faster than I'd have liked - in and out of each cave in a hurry. Swimming off the boat was a must! You don't exit the kayak at all and the swim after was wonderfully refreshing.
