A great experience with a very nice and knowledgeable guide. Highly recommend it.
We, unfortunately, had to cancel our tour. However, Kate and the Wales Outdoors customer service team were excellent! Kate was very helpful and provided us with fantastic alternative recommendations for our time in Cardiff! Hoping we can return to Cardiff soon so we can rebook with Wales Outdoors!.
Guides were amazing had great knowledge about the locations we went to and the surrounding areas. Vehicle was clean & had plenty of room for the 5 of us in total that done the trip that day. The locations were beautiful & never would have found them on our own, we were given plenty of time at each location to take it all in. Well worth the price paid. Can’t recommend doing this trip enough. When back in wales will 100% do another trip out with wales outdoors.
Andy and Kate gave us a tour of a lifetime, I cannot recommend them more. Extremely knowledgeable and an amazing hosts - definitely the highlight of our trip to Wales
This was the highlight of our vacation. The beauty of this hike could not be understated. The waterfalls are truly beautiful and the trails throughout are really pretty from start to finish. Andy was a great guide and a friendly host for the day, providing plenty of laughs throughout. He also helped to pace us well to ensure everyone was able to feel comfortable. Could not recommend this more!
Nice walk along the falls. Easily accessible and a great experience. Paths are easy to walk and are equipped with benches and viewing areas.
After about an hour drive from Cardiff, we set off on a lovely walk in the woods with our guides. We took a circular route. The first 3-4 miles were my favourite, bringing us through lush woodland and to a number of spectacular waterfalls. The next 3 or so miles were not as interesting as we walked along a roadway. Fortunately it was not well travelled by vehicles. The final 3 miles we were back in the woods again. The walking was harder going with ascents and descents but very pleasant. During this time we viewed and walked behind the most amazing waterfall! It’s a good idea to wear hiking boots and to bring a sandwich along for lunch. All and all a very enjoyable day and one that I will remember for a long time.
I was going purely to see the waterfalls which were absolutely breathtaking But an added bonus was the expertise of both Andy and Kate who constantly made sure that everyone were made to feel at ease and both the passion and knowledge they had about the area and the continued conservation of it where Breath of fresh air. Can't wait to book for my next adventure
Magnificent circular route of 15 km, 400 meters of accumulated slope, with a tour of the natural beauties of the Brecon Beacons. Guides Kate and Andy provide all the geographical, historical and cultural context information. The path is good and comfortable on all sections, with little slope except at specific points. However, due to its length, a certain walking habit and minimal physical fitness are required.
Me and my wife enjoyed the trip. Each and every waterfall experience was very good. Our trip guide Andy was highly knowledgeable and guided us really well.
