Visite Wat Lokayasutharam para ver o gigante Buda Reclinado, com 37 metros de comprimento e 8 metros de altura. O Buda foi feito de tijolo e cimento no estilo de arte Ayutthaya Médio.
Construído pelo rei U-Thong (o primeiro rei de Ayutthaya) em 1357 DC, Wat Yai Chai Mang Khon era o local de meditação para monges que retornavam de peregrinações ao Sri Lanka. O grande chedi foi construído em 1592 pelo rei Naresuan, o Grande, para comemorar sua vitória sobre a Birmânia (agora Mianmar) no mesmo ano.
Famoso pela "cabeça de Bhuddha nas raízes das árvores", Wat Mahathat foi um dos mosteiros mais importantes do Reino de Ayutthaya, não apenas por ser o centro religioso e relíquias consagradas do Buda, mas também por ser um mosteiro real.
"O templo mais sagrado da antiga Ayutthaya". Wat Phra Sri Sanphet foi o templo mais grandioso e mais bonito da capital e serviu de modelo para Wat Phra Kaew (templo do Buda de esmeralda) em Bangcoc.
Construído em 1569 pelos Bayinnaung, o grande de Hantawaddy (agora parte de Mianmar) para comemorar sua vitória sobre Ayutthaya, Wat Phu Khao Thong é um dos marcos favoritos da cidade antiga. Os visitantes podem subir o chedi para ver a beleza dos arrozais circundantes e a cidade de Ayutthaya.

Enjoyed our Trip to Ayutthaya Temples. Started with Driver pick up 6.30am from our hotel in an air conditioned comfortable small van total group of 8. With experienced Guide we were taken to 3 sites all significant & stunning on their own. Lunch was local fair & very delicious. I recommend this excellent day out.

We were picked up right on time at our hotel and had a pleasant drive in the van with our group to Ayutthaya. The day we were there, it was unpleasantly warm and humid, but I think it was still worth it. Wear sunscreen. Lunch was great. The ruins were interesting (and sad) and our guide did a good job of explaining the history. I am glad we went with a guide so we could understand better what we were looking at. The ruins are spread out and cover a huge area and multiple sites. I wasn't sure he would, but our guide and driver stopped us right off at our hotel at the end of the tour. It was the night before Songkran, and the water festivities were already on!

Please note that while this tour includes hotel pickup within inner Bangkok areas, the standard drop-off points are MRT Sam Yot or Khaosan Road. If your hotel is located nearby, the van may be able to drop you off directly at your hotel.

I recommend this activity for the following reason: Hotel pick-up highly recommended, and although there's an end drop point, drive and guide go above and beyond by dropping at near to your hotel as possible. Though, return is in Bangkok's intense traffic, I recommend dropping yourself at the nearest MRT or BTS station. Then, each stop is allowed more than enough time to explore with freedom. If you desire more information about what you see, let the guide know, and he will provide you the history. Enjoy

This was a very comprehensive tour. I really enjoyed it. The lunch was great. I’m a vegetarian and they even made me a vegetarian meal. Would definitely recommend.

Guide was very detailed in his history of everything, driver was great also. The only problem was bad information about our pickup time..when we originally booked it, time For pickup was 7.00 am. Then the last 3 emails said it was 6.00am.?we tried to get it resolved, but nobody returned our request. So, we missed breakfast and sat outside at 5.55am,.nobody showed up until 6,50..
