Had an amazing trip. Nico was funny and informative. I particularly enjoyed the banter with him as he found it amusing that we didn’t find the elevator to the castle the day before and proceeded to scale the path to the top in 35° temperatures lol. Keep up the amazing work!
We loved the idea of being able to stay with the group or going off on our own to explore. It was a nice trip.
The guide was very professional and knows a lot about the different regions! Everything was well organised ☀️
the experience was marvelous, we got to see a very interesting village, Guadalest, and Algar waterfalls. the water was freezing, so it was a lot of fun swimming there while the sun was in its full force.
Marie our guide was really informative and made sure we had lots of information, she showed us around the old castle explained a few things before we went off for free time. Had a watsapp group page so got info sent to everyone with times etc once the trip started
The whole process of booking, pick up and activities on the trip was very easy and well planned. We saw some beautiful views at Guadalest and the Fonts D’Algar with a lovely refreshing dip in the river Algar to end the afternoon. Our guide Ula was excellent giving clear instructions for meeting times and some really interesting facts during the tour. A lovely day out! 😃 K&I 😃
Overall, we really enjoyed the Algar Waterfalls tour near Alicante. The location is beautiful and definitely worth visiting, with clear water and great natural surroundings. The organization was good and everything ran on time, and the guides were helpful. That said, it does get quite crowded, especially during peak hours, which takes away a bit from the experience. Also, some parts felt a bit rushed, so we didn’t have as much time to fully relax as we expected. Still, it’s a great half-day trip and a nice break from the city. I’d recommend it, just try to go early if possible.
My wife and I booked this excellent day trip with ‘Round Town Tours’ in Benidorm. (Special mention to Kathy, our brilliant guide on the day) Firstly we went to Guadalest a small quaint, and very picturesque village overlooking a valley with reservoir. Guadalest hosts some really interesting little family run museums which are well worth visiting. Note: it is hilly with lots of steps etc. so might not be suitable for everyone. Next we travelled around 30 mins to the Algar waterfalls, again it is hilly with steps. It is highly recommended if you do go, bring swimming gear and get into the numerous pools etc. Beach shoes or similar would be a good idea as this is a totally natural area and you will be navigating your way over rocks. Sitting in a rock pool with the cool and refreshing water bubbling around you like a natural jacuzzi was really refreshingly on the warm day we visited. You can stand under a waterfall like an advertisement for shampoo 😊. All in all it was a great day trip and well worth going.
Loved this trip through the mountains, exploring a. cute little town and splashing in the refreshing waters of the waterfalls.
Everything was excellent, especially the attention we received from Belén.
