Amer Fort (muitas vezes também escrito "Amber") é um forte localizado em Amer, Rajasthan, na Índia. Amer Fort, como está agora, foi construído sobre os remanescentes dessa estrutura anterior durante o reinado de Raja Man Singh, o Rei Kachwaha de Amber. A construção do Forte foi iniciada no ano de 1592. A estrutura foi totalmente expandida por seu descendente, Jai Singh I. Mesmo depois, Amer Fort passou por melhorias e acréscimos por sucessivos governantes nos 150 anos seguintes, até que os Kachwahas transferiram sua capital para Jaipur durante a época de Sawai Jai Singh II, em 1727. .Amer Fort é conhecido por seus elementos de estilo artístico hindu. Com suas grandes muralhas e uma série de portões e caminhos de paralelepípedos, o forte dá para o Lago Maota. Esta magnífica fortaleza compreende um extenso complexo palaciano, construído em arenito amarelo pálido e rosa, e mármore branco.

Great experience. Damo drove us where we wanted and showed us the flower market. He added some explanation to the tour so that we learnt some things. He was also attentive to us during the heat pic.
