O Templo Suspenso, uma área turística nacional de nível AAAA, está localizado entre as falésias do Pico Cuiping, no lado oeste do desfiladeiro de Jinlong, em Hengshan, condado de Hunyuan, cidade de Datong, província de Shanxi. Foi originalmente chamado de "Pavilhão Xuankong", com "Xuan" derivado dos ensinamentos taoístas chineses e "Kong" derivado dos ensinamentos budistas. Mais tarde, foi renomeado como "Templo Suspenso" porque todo o templo parece pendurado em um penhasco. Em chinês, "Xuan" e "Xuan" são homófonos, daí o nome. [15] O Templo Suspenso foi construído pela primeira vez no final da Dinastia Wei do Norte (491 DC) e tem uma história de mais de 1.500 anos. É um templo único que combina Budismo, Taoísmo e Confucionismo. A arquitetura do “Templo Suspenso” é altamente distinta, conhecida pela sua precipitação, como se estivesse diante de um abismo. É conhecido como a gíria “Templo Suspenso, meio dia de altura, três rabos de cavalo pendurados no ar”, e é conhecido por sua precipitação como se estivesse diante de um abismo.

We were looking for a transportation service to reach Yungang Grottoes and we found this one that drove us to the Hanging Temple, beside Yungang Grottoes. So it was the perfect solution for us. The driver was really helpful. We've chosen to buy the attractions entrance tickets by ourselves, but for the Hanging Temple was not so easy to buy tickets. The agency helped us booking the tickets and the driver helped us to pick them up. So everything went so smooth and fast. If I'd had to book this tour again, I wouldn't change a thing. Everything was perfect!

Great experience! We were followed from the moment of booking. Nancy, via chat, organized everything perfectly and shared all the necessary information, arranging so that we would pick up at our hotel and take us directly back to the station on the way back, in time to catch the next train of our trip. The impeccable and patient driver: we got off and he was already at the reception of our hotel waiting for us, also patient for breakfast time. Reliable guide, respected all times, despite the long waits for the lines we had to do.
Fantastic day trip to the hanging monestary and Yungang grotto. Nancy’s communication before the trip was great and really helpful. Our driver Lee collected us from the lobby of our hotel. Took us to make sure we got our tickets and got the shuttle bus. He waited in the car while we visited the sites then took us back to our hotel. The sites we visited were absolutely amazing. We had a fabulous day.

We only have good words for Nancy and her drivers. They were very professional, pick us up at the exact time, good driving experience (not always is like this in China) and even, she solves a big problem we had with the cancellation of a train, and in few hours, se gave us an alternative with a good driver. Driver Mr Li picked me up from the train station. From Datong South Rail station to Hanging Temple was about 1 hour in automobile. Driver was great. I highly recommend this trip. I was supposed to go to the Grottoes but I was too tired and decided to go back to the hotel (but this was my choice). From Hanging Temple to the hotel is also about 1 hour. If you are vacationing by yourself I highly recommend to purchase a private tour as you will have the flexibility to adjust the trip as you see fit. Thanks for a great experience.
Excellent communication and management from Nancy, she advises you and manages the customized tours, which makes the experience of China much easier for foreigners. They have tours in different cities. We personally took three tours with her in 3 different cities (Chengdu, Beijing and Datong) and we had an excellent experience in all of them.
